A 2.6 G landing! How did you manage that?! Do you still have any hull left? I begin to wonder whethter we Sidewinder pilots have all nuts and bolts still together...

You do know that you need a ship around that cargo rack to carry whatever you find back to the bubble?
Fly safe,

Did cost me a percentage of hull integrity, but I wanted to "get back on the Horse" so to speak.
I am sure Sidewinders have the reputation of being able to be repaired with a duct tape and
No.8 Wire
Bring the ship down to 1 meter with the nose angled up so you are getting the "re-align" warning
then as you bring the nose down to align you touch down.
Tricky part is getting to 1 meter safely, I use FAOFF FAON rather than thrust, and are relying on A grade thrusters to be able to arrest the fall.
Also don't tip the nose up too far or you stern will hit the ground first.
Having Reached the fabled Neutron Star fields, I must say, when you have a 2 ton fuel tank and a 900kg usage per jump, replotting often is certainly a downside.
I don't have a Detailed Surface Scanner, so I'd much rather forgo the ~20,000 CR a Neutron star brings in, and avoid them all together.
