The Kilrathi Empire - aka NOT The Church of Space Cat

I really don't know how everyone missed this, and no this is not a group I'm making, chill.

If anyone ever played Wing Commander, you'd remember the cat-like alien race called the Kilrathi, the main enemy of the first three games and a minor annoyance in the later ones. If you never played Wing Commander, there's a cat-like alien race called the Kilrathi, the main enemy of the first three games and a minor annoyance in the later ones.

Still, a SPACE CAT RACE. In a space simulator. Preceding the great Church of Space Cat. And NO ONE noticed this? Or is this the return of the Kilrathi? Is this a massive conspiracy where the creators of the Space Cat cult are really Kilrathi in human disguise? Was this intentional; fate binding cats and space together once again?

(Note: This isn't some convoluted RP post, I really only recently noticed the correlation and I'm curious if it was intentional or just some crazy happenstance. Why are there never dog-like alien races? It's always cats or bugs or blue humans.)

What do you think about a sheep-like alien race? Or the return of pig-like alien race of duke nukem? What about a version of elite:dangerous Farmville? [praise]

Cats kill through instinct. If you want an animal that genuinely partakes in "blood sports", you could look at the Orca (Killer Whale). Orca's hunt Grey Whale calves making their way along the Pacific coast of the US with their mothers. They take turns holding the calf underwater to drown it. When it is dead, they eat only its tounge, almost as a kind of trophy.

There you go, add orcas to the list. We need orca aliens.

Cats have no excuse. "Instinct", hell. They like killing because it's fun for them.

Privateer was the oddball in the series. It was more like Elite and yes, it did have Kilrathi, compared to the rest of the series' mission-by-mission structure with win/lose branching paths.

One of the things I liked about Wing Commander was the fact that it even had that mission tree style. Most games at the time was "win-or-game-over", but WC actually had losing paths when you did badly and varied missions.

Speaking of space cats... What happened to DoctorHotWings? He was the original space cat before the group ever became a thing. Did you guys kill him? Did he know the truth???

This is a bigger conspiracy than the UAs. :O
