Thread on reddit says she did destroy at least 1 CMDR which she confirmed.
She'll probably be gone in a couple of days when her novelty wears off, otherwise there's a fleet of armed Condas and Corvettes wondering what route home to take in a couple of weeks.
Shame she wasn't there a couple of weeks ago

When they were guarding, they did an excellent job
I am still on the DW trip, aye. Now as to the guarding... well, CMDR Metta was there for months, meeting and greeting new players, and of course defending explorers. I did too guard Sag A* from unwanted shrubberies for a couple of days before I went back home.
Now, it was fun while it lasted, meeting new explorers and making friends/photos was a blast (CMDR Kancro Vantas is one of them), but eventually I got bored and went home again.
Besides, unless I hook myself up to the matrix, and somebody actually starts to pay me to PLAY this GAME, I, or anyone else for that matter, won't have the capacity to guard anything 24/7. Not to mention the amazing gameplay experience of staring into a black hole for most parts of the day.
Good lord... well guys. Leave the lasers behind and get the best psychiatrists the galaxy has to offer, and transport them there promptly.
Otherwise, nothing to see here. This weed will wither and die on its own if left unattended.

the perp has a great opportunity to make video's of her "defense" of the largest object in our galaxy. Imagine the sweeping vista... Um Imagine the serene horizo... Imagine somebody with a video of blowing her up. that would be great.

I'm piloting my Party Cruiser, the Narwhal, on a tour of Barnard's Loop, and the guests were having a splendid Free Drinks and Witchhaul Kobe Beef ribs party when the news of this Royal Warship broke. The reactions were varied and many. One of my guests, a retired Imperial Fleet Captain, (We call him "Old Molot Rasputin"), had the following to say, after downing his thirteenth vodka shot:
"If I was at home in Achenar, I would immediately pull some strings with the Fleet Brass, and I'd commanding an Interdictor with escorts over to Sag A* to clear this up immediately!.. But I'm having too good a Jolly Time here to ask for transport back to Achenar. More shots!"
A Federal Paperweight Callibrator from Mars High said this:
"By Sir Horace's hat! A pointless protection racket at the Center of the Galaxy! What will it be next? Trolls under bridges? They will have to design new forms to fill out for this!"
After a few minutes excitement, everyone went back to partying.

I'm hoping she stays out there, I really do Once I'm back in Sol, I am so tempted to head back out in my Vulture and say hello again It will be a very brief hello as I have to be back at Sol in time for tea and biscuits On a side note this has actually livened up the game a bit. Massive thumbs up

Honestly, this seems harmless enough. She's providing warnings, she's encouraging people to interact, and she's giving them every chance to flee if they do not.
It SEEMS to me that all will be well if you play along with her. So it's an RP situation rather than any kind of griefing. Sounds to me that as long as you can spin a good RP yarn you'll get by just fine.
(please correct me if I'm wrong or if this has changed)
If I was in this position I wouldn't mind as long as I had enough time to scan SagA* before I moved on. But given how I encountered nobody on my trip there (or anywhere else) this might have been an interesting and memorable encounter, given that I have the opportunity to walk away from it.
Her motivations are cooky and nonsensical, but the way I see it this is just a variation of space madness... or a rock hermit without the rock
