Powerplay Faction: Zachary Hudson Absolutely disgusted by fellow Hudson commanders. Vital report inside!

If only you had a few extra MW of power, you could have put them in their place! ;)

Seems like a pretty underhanded tactic, but I guess that's how to play the game. Subterfuge and grief, or so it seems.

Haha yeah, give me 40MW so I can fit those beams all over. Haha

Agree with the folk here about PvP in that yes killing people is part of the game but to use Power Play and enter a Military Strike zone then attack a supposed ally in a wing. Pretty much as cowardly as it comes.

But of course it's all part of the open mode of the game and just goes to show never trust unknown human commanders.

Thanks for sharing Miko, I carry out Power Play combat in open every week and it's a good reminder.

I was attacked last night by 3 hudson cmdr,s, i got rammed with my shields down and nearly lost my ship, i waked out, repaired my ship, went back, found the A hole that rammed me and took my revenge. Yes its annoying, yes its not fair, but its just the game, space is dangerous, trust no one, watch any and all human players, assume they will attack. Anyone that ever nudged me, rammed me, tried to provoke me, gets destroyed, end of.

If you was in a corvette i would`ve exacted retribution and laughed my ass off whilst sending them a polite message...

This is a heads up warning to all commanders that they should be very wary of these fellow Hudson players and any others like them.

I was down in LPM 229 fighting for our side, when suddenly these 3 showed up on my radar. I kindly asked if they wanted to wing up to share merits, but they promptly set their sights on me and engaged in full attack. I did not retaliate and tried to communicate with them with regards to their attacking me. They did not reply. I burned through 2 whole A7 SCB'S and took continued fire from them before high waking out. Their intent was to kill me.

Being fellow Hudson commanders I am truly disgusted. Had I not been flying a fully kitted Corvette I'd have succumbed to their attack. Yes, I could have retaliated, but this is so wrong on so many levels. I could have lost 2000 merits and I'd suffered a repair bill of over 1 million credits.

Please be aware that we are at war with ourselves with regards to these operations when commanders like these are amongst us.

I don't know what else I can do but name and shame them so that you can best avoid them. They are killing our own people!

I have a recording to prove it.

They are just playing Elite Dangerous as it suppose to be played. Elite is DANGEROUS get use to players killing you on sight, solo was made for people who want to play Elite: Easy if you want.

I think we all can agree that certainly this is how the game can be played. The only real issue here is that the OP placed this in a public forum, as opposed to a private forum, specifically for those who consider themselves Hudson Commanders. That way they do not need to worry about infringing FD forums rules in any way, as the then "Hudson Commanders group" would create there own policies/rules, I doubt FD would have authority to impose their "naming and Shaming" on someone's own personal and private forum, so any Warnings regarding "Rogue" pilots can be issued there along with any other need to know items.

I can't believe the responses of some of the players on here. Goes to show how unscrupulous they are- actually justifying what these no-accounts are doing? Well, when they experience it, I am sure they'll be crying about it.
If I was the one that was turned on, I would have surely blown up and lost it all considering I am in a Vulture. A big reason why I don't play on Open just yet..
Since my words will change nothing, I can only suggest that solo players stick to solo unless you are in communication with fellow players that have your back- or if you have a big ship like a corvette :) I cannot wait to get one.

Most players are very friendly and supportive. I don't regret leaving solo because I've met some great guys and enjoy playing with them in the game. It adds immense atmosphere and motivation to the game and it's universe. Sadly some groups operate to make people's lives hell, but they are immensely outnumbered by the good guys who patrol to keep them subdued.

I'd recommend giving open a try, but as you saw with my post, it can be volatile.

I've since left Hudson and I've joined Empire to earn the weapons and Shields they have. I've not been backstabbed once in Empire space and it was other Hudson events that drove me into making the decision to join the Empire factions for now.

Saying that, you get interdicted less because the Empire covers 50% of the power play powers, so many of the spawns you see are allies.

I was with Hudson for 3 months or so and worked hard for the power, but time and again I ran into fellow Hudson commanders who not only interdicted me, but killed me on sight.

There are also a lot of very solid Hudson commanders, too, remember, who are immensely supportive and decent players, but for now, I'm out of there.

Let me get this straight, you were attacked by "Hudson" CMDRs, who were actually Imperial 5c, so you decided to join the Empire? Btw, I was also attacked by "Hudson" CMDRs once and I believe they were they same ones who attacked you.

Hopefully, you'll see the light and return to us after you have your Imperial Hammers and Prismatic Shields. Fly safe Miko. :)

I'm not referring to the event I detailed in my original post here, I'm actually talking about more than a few incidents with Hudson commanders who saw fit to either interdict me or claim a RES site and attack me on sight despite being Hudson, too.

I don't think I need to be seeing the light when I'd stuck with Hudson for so long and made a strong commitment to the efforts of the power. Right now I'm happy to be taking a break and I've been pleasantly surprised by my experience in Empire space thus far compared to Hudson territory where these incidents were quite frequent, considering.

I've already declared that I loved being aligned with Hudson and played alongside some solid commanders who were also Hudson, so we'll see what the future brings but in the meantime I'd hope you guys remember who I am and don't come attacking me when you see me around. That'd be a shame after being comrades before.

There are enough false flag reports on Aisling's subreddit for me to say with confidence that if you spend your four weeks with her in Open, you'll be attacked at least once by a fellow Aisling player. The trick is to not attribute it to a flaw in the community. Team killing by random jerks has been a fact of life in every online game.

I'm aware of that. Who would argue otherwise. I've merely said the switch to Empire has so far been pleasant and I'd have been made to believe quite the opposite beforehand.
