What he said ^. Folks are a little to quick to scream "griefer" or "ganker" sometimes.

Ok, maybe she's not a griefer, just role-playing... But that doesn't diminish my desire and pleasure to watch someone wipe her out and send her straight back to the bubble where she belongs!!Honestly, this seems harmless enough. She's providing warnings, she's encouraging people to interact, and she's giving them every chance to flee if they do not.
It SEEMS to me that all will be well if you play along with her. So it's an RP situation rather than any kind of griefing. Sounds to me that as long as you can spin a good RP yarn you'll get by just fine.
(please correct me if I'm wrong or if this has changed)
If I was in this position I wouldn't mind as long as I had enough time to scan SagA* before I moved on. But given how I encountered nobody on my trip there (or anywhere else) this might have been an interesting and memorable encounter, given that I have the opportunity to walk away from it.
Her motivations are cooky and nonsensical, but the way I see it this is just a variation of space madness... or a rock hermit without the rock![]()
Damn you explorers, your part of the forum is supposed to be the nice part of town without threads like that. Whats next, are you gonna make topics about combat logging?![]()
Sag A* should always be free! It's the explorer's Mecca! Pay some respect, pseudo-majesty!

Easy enough to evade and still get your scan. Just get close enough to scan, target Sgr A*, drop into normal space and continue your scan there. Likely she forgot to add a wake scanner to her vet, so it will take her much longer to get a lock and wiggle into range to drop into your instance than it will take you to complete your scan. Then just jump out.
Not much to Sgr A* other than some unrealistic spatial distortion cam that is centered on your helmet's POV. Not missing anything except "bad astronomy" by bugging out quickly.
Curmudgeony and a bit mean spirited, but also true.![]()
To be 100% honest, I find that duping people with bad astronomy and drug induced graphical effects is curmudgeony and mean spirited. But yeah, spoiler. Sgr A* is one of the few places in ED where bad astronomy is on unabashed display. The mass is off by an order of magnitude, the lensing effect is laughably wrong headed, and the lack of any danger from the black hole itself is utterly disappointing.
Whenever I go to Sgr A* I die a little inside. Just my honest feelings about bad astronomy.

Really, if I had an Anaconda, I would head there immediately and do it myself!

black hole, apparently.
Trying to get behind you. In a Corvette. In a system with a massive Black Hole. That should open some opportunities....
Cmdr-Wotherspoon;3668762And I must say said:Not to mention the stupidest...
Name something... anything... that is less subject to the tramp of tourist footfall... I mean, it's a black hole... you couldn't even get a photograph out...
