Well I enjoyed watching Mini-Elite in action. During my short time as a games developer I remember one or two skilled tools developers that might have enjoyed such exposure of their work.
Hey you people with no access to the private backers forum, I noticed someone appears to have slipped this weeks peek-of-the-week onto the reddit thread
No Imperial Trader! What are we supposed to do, carry the "merchandise" on the back, and sprout "solar wind propelled wings"?
Otherwise a good read.![]()

By the way, is it me, or background is finally PG starfield? At least it feels like one. It would make sense for it to be there as in A4 too.

It's not just you. I must say that I think the stars are still "to big" though. Stars are "points of light" not "small discs in the sky". It could have to do with the FOV but we'll see.
This is something that looks a lot better in EVE Online IMO.

Reducing the stars size in ED with about 30-40% and adding lots of even smaller ones behind would create a much more pleasing image with greater depth to it.
Absolutely agree. Not only that but the quality of the newsletters is as good as it has ever been too. There has been some really good stuff coming from them lately, not to mention a beta in five weeks.
