Three monitors on Nvidia Surround

Hi everyone. I wasn't sure about the rules re necroing posts so I have started another one.

This post here describes my problem exactly. It's nothing to do with aspect ratio as this was tested before Christmas.

http://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=9579&page=2

I have three 1920*1200 monitors on a GTX680 and it's unusable for the 1.1 BETA early access version I have. Can anyone tell me if it has been fixed in the later builds?

Thanks

LOL :p

typo meant 3.4

But the display issues from the Alpha 1.1 build have long been fixed and you're not flying while sitting on the rear bulkhead.

The issue with larger than HD vertical setting is known and should be on their fix list.

Can you, or anyone else, please provide a screenshot of how it looks now with 3x HD monitors?

Nice pic, thanks for posting. I'm running three monitors too with SLI'd gtx760's so waiting for full beta to make the most of it :)

A similar pic was posted on another thread (might have been yours, Omegahunter ;) ). Its worth mentioning before anyone asks... the image looks off center because of the two seats in the Cobra cockpit, and the pilots seat being on the left :)

Wow nice. Out of interest what angles have you got the end monitors positioned at?

The end monitors are set at about 20 degrees which is from my setup for playing F1 2012 /13

The resolution the screenshot was taken in is 5760x1080 but my normal gaming resolution would be 6122x180 with bezel correction but ED can't take screenshot at that setting.

With that angle on the monitors and my seating position the lines of the console or race track in game are straight and look natural. As for the stretching of the view in the far outsides of the screens you really don't notice it.

Yes the Cobra pilot seat is on the left which will move the view off center but I was also using the DIY H'ED' Tracker device as well as, from the looks of it doing a roll. But so used to the view only noticed it wasn't square on when you mentioned it.

SLI 760's will be more than enough to handle three screens, i'm getting 30fps in asteroid fields and the station and an easy 60 in open space.

Posted a few surround screenshots in the forums so I'm sure you will have seen one or two by me. :)

Note that its CMDR Blackley in that Anaconda, I think that he had a bounty of a few thousand credits on his head at the time but I wasn't falling in to his trap :p

I'm also interested in this setup as currently using 3x1080 screens

I see that you don't get to view the side monitors (in ship) in your screenshot.
Is this normal or can you change the fov so they appear?
