I call those threads "The Odd Thread Inhabitants" for a that very reason.

Have ASUS gone "downright bloody" insane?

I'm running a G750JX ROG Laptop that cost me $3000 (US) when it was new. I know, it may be odd, but a decent gaming laptop runs E: D quite well.
Since mine has a dated GeForce 770M GPU in it, I am on the lookout for a new gaming laptop, since nowadays you can buy one with a 980 Desktop GPU.
Yeah it costs an arm and a leg, but working away, I can take my game with me.
I came across a new addition to the ROG family, the GX700 17.3" Elite Gaming Laptop.
With liquid cooling. If that wasn't insane enough it has a price tag of $6000 (US).

When I saw it, I wondered if Asus have gone insane. No longer do you need an ROG Shuttle Backpack to lug around a 17" laptop but a damn Suitcase!
Regardless, I will probably be insane enough to buy one, once I sell a kidney...
