Given the demographic of many backers here I find the reaction to be quite startling:
I don't - I kind of find it to be expected and that's as a result of the demographic (ageing players)
To explain - pretty much all my life I have played online and experienced many aspects of it including things that _could_ be perceived as griefing but I didn't take it as such as I am used to it / desensitised to it (Eg: you're killing a monster, taking ages, and someone comes along and 1shots it getting the reward. Hey - sure, that's sort of griefing but as mobs respawn all the time I didn't really care, others might)
A lof to backers here probably haven't played online and maybe (being judgemental here) only done single player games. As such anyone who interferes with their gameplay is griefing ... But you and I know it's not ... Not in the grand scheme of things. Certainly not when considering what I could do to make people miserable in game
So I guess going back to PacalBs comments I do empathise with how people feel - the real issue is that I don't care (for the current "I was griefed" threads) as truth be known they're not really being griefed .. They're just inconvienced a little, and that's not the end of the world.
However they should outline to FD via tickets how they feel - that part is important as if FD agree that something is or will be in place to deal with it (grouping or ignore) then so be it, but some creative sod may find a new method and FD need to know about it and deal accordingly.
