Is there a performance issue?
And if so, how bad can it be with voice attack?
Merely fact finding.
Is it just me then that thinks his voice and delivery is just really REALLY grating? [blah]
(Edit - I mean Shatner's voice of course, not our ObAnt.)
I wasn't a huge fan of using Voice Attack/ Voice Packs, but how can I pass up having Captain Kirk onboard?!
Anyone fancy giving Gary Oldman a call to see if he's up for it?
He could phone it in, much like... erm... well 'nuff said methinks...

Frontier should just make a deal with these guys to provide the voiceover content some folks seem to want for missions and whatnot. It's pretty clever the way they've wrapped it around Voice Attack, but more directly collaborating would make for way more interesting stuff. Take it to the next level for season three and make the "military careers" stuff they want to do campaigns with some SF legends stuffed in a booth rattling off variations. I'm sure the writers would love to take a crack at writing dialogue for these people and this outfit has shown they are capable at doing the recording and talent wrangling.
Not that I'm THAT into it, but I bet lots of other folks would be.
Then again, I'd pay to listen to Tom Baker read the entire commodities section. Or as some Thargoid expert pontificating and blathering on in Galnet exclusives.
"Ahhhh..."
Don't bite off more than you can chew, add a few per season for The Glorious Ten Year Plan.
I love all the extra vocal feedback and automation, but I don't think I'd ever get used to voice commands. I tend to play late, in a quiet and not-at-all-soundproof apartment. Not for me.![]()
From the latest newsletter, "A new voice pack with over 1300 phrases from the legendary science fiction master who has lent his voice for a thoroughly immersive experience."
Two friends (in separate countries) who worked with him behind the scenes during conventions had nothing good to say about him. If you had a Nimoy pack, I'd be interested, but not this.

It's just you
..and me!
If I wanted that level of acting ability and emotional range, I would ask my local primary school nativity play cast to voice it, thanks!
I met him once 10 years ago, he's a nice chap, maybe they were just irritating? maybe he had a reason to be grumpy?
The newsletter was gushing about this, but never actually explained what it was or what it did.
What is it?
Don't think it's actually Leonard Nimoy but have a listen to this one;
