We meet again my old friend...

After our original encounter in a Haz-res (see below for the video) CMDR Athanos and I meet again for a fight to the death... But this time I'm the one in the Anaconda!

I mean, you did snipe his bounty the first time man. Although settling something like that over coms is prefferd, jumping in on a bounty that someone is working on is considered bad form. I always leave ships alone that another player is working on. I don't really blame him for going after you.

I've had someone trail me and kill snipe in a RES before. I ended up going after and killing him. Luckily for me, he ended up having a 260k bounty on his head after using the KWS.

Nobody likes a bully? You snipe his kill (that's a provocation right there and I'd have taken you down as well, though I would have waited until I could get a good hard ram into your back side and then opened up with my PACs), "share" as you put it. He runs you off, you demonstrate poor use of pips, allow your shields to drop and run away. Then you wait until he has no shields and is below 70% hull while engaged with multiple hostiles to attack. That isn't "owning" anyone or anything. I think you need to check your understanding of some basic english terms, particularly "share", "greedy", "provoke", "owning" (probably going to want to use urban dictionary) and "troll" (again, urban dictionary) as well learn some courtesy and manners. You also demonstrate a misunderstanding of how silent running works in you second video...good luck....you need it.

Ooh you sniper
LOL
Reminds me of something i did in my Sidewinder long ago.
I was "assisting" someone with their hunting, so they assisted me in finding the rebuy screen.

Interesting story - except the OP in his Vulture was the bully to be honest (?)
And all over some rather irrelevant NPC Bounties - which are in unlimited supply anywhere. Oh well...

IMHO the old wisdom remains true : Good communications save lifes.

More salt please.

:)

Honestly, I was a young pilot in that first encounter in my Vulture.

Also...

I would have waited until I could get a good hard ram into your back side...

Really? Lol calm down soldier.

It's probably important to mention that I did not know bounties were not shared when the anaconda kill happened, having said that - kill stealing doesn't exist. The bounties are there for whoever gets them. It's the very nature of bounty hunting.

I tried to communicate but got nothing back.

He attacked me, without warning, and he got what he deserved.

Well those are indeed the "rules of the road" and at least you tried.
Still it's plain asking for trouble, everyone knows that. I'm just saying that trouble could have been avoided, a single RES should be big enough for two independently operating Ships ;)

Whenever I saw other Players enter the RES, often in Wings, I asked for Wing invite or otherwise just went off into a different corner.
The guys were usually quite happy when I occasionally lured a 3- or even a 5-Ship into their direction and announced that in local chat.

Im 100% with the OP on this, the Annaconda is by far the more powerful ship so to open fire for any reason without saying anything in comms first is bullying (the vulture pilot could easily be new to the game, or new to open play). The concept that shooting a wanted criminal is "kill stealing" is fine (if thats the community definition then its already part of the game), however, only an elitest jerk would open fire without saying something ship to ship.

Overall if you dont want to play with other people then play in solo, thats what its there for and if you open fire on someone else - expect them to fire back.

Geat vids OP, interesting and I hope more elitest jerks get whats comming to them in terms of insurance costs of expensive ships!

For the first video, mistakes on both sides. For the second, it really doesn't seem like the other commander is a bully.

Tbh isn't ALL videos featuring cmdr names by definition naming and/or shaming? There are cmdr names visible after all.

LOL .. some pretty "stern" words from some of the responders especially over who "owns" the NPCs (Hint: no one)

No one owns the NPCs no, but there's also no reason not to shoot someone with no warning if you don't like what they're doing FOR ANY REASON YOU LIKE.
The unwritten rule is "No stealing kills", and it's there in many games, some will even let you report people for it, I don't think we should have the ability to report people, but that doesn't mean I'm not going to shoot you if you steal mine, hell, I might even shoot you just because I don't like your CMDR name or the fact that you've painted your ship green, I hate green.

Does that make me a bully? Maybe, if you don't agree with my reasoning, and you can feel free to shoot me for it if you like, that's kind of the point of this game.

I'm not hating on either of the commanders in the video, I actually thought it was pretty funny, the only issue I have is the statement that the guy in the conda had no reason to attack the op, he had a reason that lots of people would also agree with.
Think it's ok to steal kills? Sure, go ahead, play the game however you like, but don't be surprised if people shoot at you.
