Never seen a palm tree station before

Irkutsk is like that, why I like to use a DC going in there :/ My eyes aren't what they used to be..

I refuse to use a docking computer on most ships because I'm not willing to sacrifice the slot but I'll unashamedly admit to installing one on my Anaconda after a particularly close call thanks to those pink lights. I can dock the conda manually no problem at all but I do like to minimise the amount of time I have to spend actually trying to fly it around inside stations...

Am I the only one who find these palm trees a little... weird? I mean what the heck is a palm tree doing there? In an industrial environment like that, I would expect only functional items, kept at an absolute minimum for safety reasons.
