Landing on Planets

I was told here in forum that flying an anaconda could be tricky to take off from high G planets.Does this also apply to other ships? i am asking especially for federal corvette , imperial Cutter and Python .
Also what it the highest G planet you managed to land to guys please give us numbers or preferably screenshots.

It's better to not use the vertical thrusters at all, on 6+g worlds, but just slowly "slide" to the ground and off as well using forward motion.
If only I bookmarked the awesome video one commander did about it. Sorry. Anybody?

When landing first kill off any forward or sideways motion at least 30km out. Its amazing how long it can take to slow down on a high G planet. Taking off in my Anaconda hasnt been an issue.

As others have said on high G planets be really careful. Its hard in any ship but harder in heavier and less agile ships. If you use too much of your vertical thrusters you may end up to situation that you can't recover or its hard even if you have done it before. Slamming Anaconda or any big ship to High G planet 600 m/s doesn't give second change.

During Horizon beta we had thread about this high G planet landings. We managed to land any ship with any kind of build to all high G planet. Highest i know was 9.77 G. Beta forums aren't available anymore or i can't find them. So landing any ship to any planet is possible but on high G its harder and take more time. Taking of from high G world is always possible but usually you need to use boost to get of the ground and keep boosting until you can engage super cruise.

Achernar 3 A is 6.72 G planet in the bubble. Give it a visit but take your time with landing and make sure that you have money for insurance. You can test it first on cheap ship and then on more expensive ship. I did it first time with cutter. Just be careful.
