Grinding to do a community goal only to be shot in the envelope of the station that hosts the event.
Thank you for having fun at pewpewing CMDR Pew-pewer. Sorry for not taking note of the names of your fellow sportsmen.
EDIT:
I apologise for breaking forum rules with my original first post, the incriminating words were kindly edited by a moderator. I posted in anger, I still do not agree with the rule, but I accept it. (not that there is a choice there)

Just to make it clear. There was a successfully assassination attempt against my person (and any other persons trying to land or launch) at Obsidian Orbital yesterday evening. I was upset. Then went back with a cheap ship to find out what was going on. What I found out was that a few commanders were using the community goal to find targets with open rectangles and used some fishy excuses to make them into pixelplosions. And proceeded to do so about a dozen times before I called it a night.

I gladly take punishment for being griefed.

As cmdr Forlorn said naming/shaming isnt allowed. So not only did you have to put up with the "griefing", but you might also get Infraction points on this forum. I understand youre upset, but I would remove the cmdrs name before a mod sees it.

I am glad I started such a lively discussion.
Aw, even got censured, I feel special now.
Oh no, now I feel ashamed.

Actually AT the station? Some good pew pew required to blow up a decently defended ship before entering the no fire zone.

These guys must be fantastic, let alone bored

Edit : sorry or is this one of those rammed until I was speeding things?

So I lost 9 or so hard earned meta-alloys (I mean they are really boring to get) because someone thinks it is funny to shoot ships while landing.
I went back to Maia to ask the guys what was going on.
I know I was being insolent.
Anyways I was shot and or rammed in the envelope, outside the envelope and on the launching pad another dozen times by half a dozen kind spirited players.
To my inquiries regarding the meaning of this some of them answered that:
1. a group called Interstellar *asterds (isn't that a trademark violation?) declared Maia a no fly zone so I have to leave or die.
2. it is the will of Quozl declared the CG blocaded and I am sanctioned to die.
So all in all they were a reasonable bunch with a legitimate cause and they did give a chance to leave and they even explained themselves.
Of course I will not name them because then they might feel ashamed and we do not want that. I strongly support caring for the well being of our fellow beings.
Good night!

Well not sure they're bored. They sound like they have a "wafer thin" in game reason to oppose the CG and protect meta-alloys, which is fair enough.

I was going to go to the Pleiades in a Type-6, not convinced by this as an idea at the moment - need to ponder the ship. Not sure an Asp Explorer is a good choice either, its not far enough to need an all out explorer mode Asp.

Thanks for the info OP - made me pause for thought.

Simon

That's not griefing.
You are absolutely correct. It is quite normal to be shot even while landing everyone should experience it daily. The next dozen assaults/accidents were even more justified, they did say I should leave and instead of complying I tried to talk to them. I feel lucky I was not fined for insulting these fine gentlemen with my presence.
