Powerplay Faction: Zachary Hudson CMDR "He who I'm not allowed to talk about"

Hi, I've encountered a problem with a CMDR "He who I'm not allowed to talk about" who sits around Hahn Gateway in the Nanomam sector. He's usually teamed up with his friends in ships that are way above in capability than my Cobra. The first time he attacked me, I was on the way to the outpost in FSD and he repeatedly told me to leave the system and not come back. He then tried to prevent me from docking and attacked me while doing it, all the while telling me to leave and never come back. When trying to leave the station he repeatedly rammed me to damage my ship and I actually got fined for dangerous driving after half killing my ship. A few days later, he's back there, lurking above the docking entrance, he attacked me and destroyed my ship. The authorities cant seem to do anything about him and his pals. Obviously this is a problem to a new player like myself who is trying to make my way in the galaxy and going about Zachary Hudsons business delivering intel and supplies.

Bishop, I HIGHLY recommend not playing in open until you are flying a Vulture or above. Play in Solo for now.

Thankfully I have not ran into any idiots like that- my only bad encounter with another player was at a Combat Zone. He rammed my A-rated Fer-De-Lance (minus armor) right after my shields dropped which did me in. I wasn't mad, as he as on the opposing side, as much as I was shocked how a Diamondback Explorer could take me from 99% hull to 0 in one hit. Evidently, he had done this before..

note to self- find the combat composite armor and purchase ASAP :)

Hull re-inforcement packages protects from rams.. and deals damage if you have them fitted

Here I am, my dear enemy ;)
You have to understand that I am there to kill feds for obvious reasons...
However, I think it was fair to let you alive in the first place and to tell you to leave instead.
But when you decided to call me a <snip> and other things I felt the urge to kill you whenever I see you. Also consider that you violated the ToS and can get your account banned for such behaviour.
I would not report this because I dont care but be sure that you are dead when we run across ;)

thankyou for that recommendation, 6xes, I will do exactly that.. it is also much cheaper.. I can't find the reinforced armor cheaper than 17,000,000, let alone the military grade composite under 38,000,000! (and that was in a Li Yong-Rui system).

So long as your not speeding you will not get fined for damage he does to your ship. Also the Cobra is a very maneuverable ship it is possible for you to out position him. Make sure you have your report crimes against you on. I would also say don't go running to private or solo just because you have a Cobra. It's a good ship and a lot of open players started in a Sidy in open and never left and are now in much bigger ships. If it where me i would enjoy the challenge and continue to try to undermine what the other CMDR is trying to accomplish. That is one of the main points of the game.

He is a fat little kid who gets bullied at school, has an absent father and sadly isn't that intelligent or popular. Cut him some slack eh.

Just avoid the PK areas, it's not that hard at all. No need to run to Solo unless he absolutely has to return to that area.

Me and my team of ultimate bad-asses will patrol Nanomam and remove this rebel scum....dramaaaaa:D

If your imagination of me being an ugly appearance and and still visiting school satisfies you, I am happy to have made you feel better than you are.
Feel free to bring some friends and visit me around Nanomam where you can teach me a lesson and bully me on a daileeeeeee :D

You show your age and maturity level by saying such foolish things.

Why not go Solo? I would like to change my wording.. Actually, don't go open UNLESS you have a wing of players.

I went to a Denton Patreus system to undermine and fight in a military strike... After exhausting my shield cells and cannon shells, I jumped out to go to the nearest dock to get patched up... Not more than one minute, I am interdicted by a wing of real players. -Mind you, I am flying an A rated FDL- 99% hull-
the mini-game was impossible.. I never had an opportunity to get the crosshairs even close to the middle no matter how much I tried... As soon as I dropped out, I boosted continually with four pips to engines- BUT they still managed to overtake me and blow me up. I am still not 100% sure how they were able to keep up... Sure enough, their mass was too great to allow me to jump out, so I blew up. At least one was flying in a FDL as well- I STILL wonder how he caught up to me when I have at least as good a ship as he did. Cry unfair? Well...

I was upset for losing all those merits- but I am not mad at the players as that is part of the game. Even so, how would anyone on here like to have been in my shoes??

LESSON LEARNED- DO NOT PLAY IN OPEN UNLESS YOU HAVE A WING...

Note to developers: WHERE ARE THE NPC WINGMEN????!!! Sure, they may be a little dumb, but at least it would have given me a fighting chance against a pack of killers.

Thinking this is more of an opinion here. I'm a Mobius kinda-guy but I can see where playing Solo and doing power play is an unfair advantage and why those that stay in Open complain about people that "hide" in Solo. I also never do Power Play but respect those that do, and their opinions.

My point is, I encourage the OP to play the way they want, Open sounds great to me if that's your thing. You do need to upgrade your ship enough to where you can survive these encounters and live to fight another day. It's tough, but this game can be unrelenting and unforgiving (actually, the live people in it are that, the game is fine LOL).

Survive first, conquer later :)

I see your point about those who want to engage opposing commanders and how it can impact their side- case in point: mine... I am sure those Denton guys were celebrating for destroying a Zachary Hudson FDL underminer in their expansion zone- especially one that just came out of their military strike. Goes with the territory, eh?

This is why the developers NEED to add NPC wingmen... I am all for playing in open and taking that risk... but I am not a person who has loads of time for preparation before playing- and then I feel bad when I have to drop out of a wing because I go to bed a decent time... I need wingmen who are there when I want- and also don't say things that I find offensive.

I am just thankful that I banked the majority of my merits before jumping in to this system.. All in all, I ended up losing about an hour and a half of merits and two hours worth of credits... could have been a LOT worse, merit wise. Still, I would rather have faced them in a firefight instead of a futile attempt at running- and that would have been possible if the others were tied up with the NPCs long enough for me to work on them at least one of them!

You guys need no wing to play in open but to learn how to play, thats all. Surviving an interdiction by no matter how many opponents is so easy it is laughable. I am getting ganked all day and I even get away in an eagle. Yesterday I killed a wing of a cobra and vulture three times in a row with my eagle without going to repair, getting insulted by them because they got rekt just like the OP did and you can't survive those ridiculous 15 seconds before you high wake out? Learn how to play...

Just play in open and if you meet a smeghead or go to one of their gathering areas - CGs, beginners systems, ..., just switch to Solo. Alternatively, join us on Mobius, no strange hand shakes are required, you just join up and play as normal. PVP IS allowed but ONLY in combat zones and where both players have aligned with opposite factions.
If you wanna wing up, just send me a message, and there's also a Mobius teamspeak channel where you can potentially find a group doing something you are interested in at the same time and wing up with.

Thankyou for identifying yourself. In future, please just blow me up instead of boring me to death by spamming my chat box with your threats so that no matter how far I scroll up, all I can see is your patter. If you want to report me then go ahead if it gives you a thrill, I got better things to do than play this game.
