Morgan Freeport killed me in 4.6 seconds - Balanced?

I think they have to be nerfed. People need to have a reasonable way to escape (think of T9s for example), when they are attacked by NPCs (or players) who ram them on purpose and explode.
Otherwise, combat logging will continue to plague the PvP world.
No...no it does not, especially towards trade ships, NPC ramming is getting fixed, but stations certainly do not need nerfing especially because that would also nerf them protecting people from legit attacks.
So yeah, the answer would entirely be, don't run into people, and while there are some issues currently, they are being worked on so NPC's dont randomly ram anymore (other then combat situations obviously?) the solution is not nerfing the stations.

So you are in favour of people combat logging?
You make a mistake, by ramming someone or getting rammed because you weren't aware enough to avoid the npc, with skimmers especially, why would you be so low in a ship that you'd hit them, and they are so tiny yeah, they are going to die from getting it, answer would be, do not fly low near ground at stations land a bit out of range?

But your answer to "something is attacking me!" is combat logging? which is specifically not allowed, as it is a way to avoid in game consequences, and yes I am aware that there's no consequences currently for players that are over aggressive in nature and misuse this fact, but they are adding that. But yeah, playing a game is about you know, what can happen in it, avoiding things you 'dont like' makes for a boring game. And no I am not defending griefers or similar, do not worry there, those people really don't belong in online gaming communities, when they are stuck on the "I want to hurt other people, because I can." without wanting to branch out and do the so many other things that you can do in not only Elite but other games that it happens in. Plain and simply sad.

If you watch it in slow-mo, you see the initial ram only takes a small impact on my shields. ~30 frames after that and I get hit by something from behind

You hit the ground, plain and simple you did 90% of the work for them.

I want Morgan Freeman to kill you in 4.6 seconds.

Your comment reminded me of this.

No, I am just against all sorts of 'nerfing'. If someone's stupid enough to get the wrath of a station upon them it's their own fault and they should burn in fire for it (and learn to enjoy such torture).

Ridiculous, unless you are joking. The problem with murderously powered npc authority is you need to make sure they don't easily make mistakes. In the case of those irritating skimmers, I had one fly into my parked ship - right into it, and it died. I died shortly after when the base issued a 400 credit bounty on me for literally existing. Hmm.

I don't follow your logic here it makes no sense.

He were the attacker here (killed a settlement's[?] goliath) and rammed it on purpose. Hence his charge with murder, hence why security fired upon him.

A T9 (unless they are also looking for a fight) will not try to ram something and thus be attacked. If on the other hand if the T9 were to get rammed (and if they were not speeding) they would not suffer a murder charge.

Why should he (the attacker near a settlement) given the opportunity to escape?

People as it is already complain about the slow response time of security forces. I don't think people want to also add complaints about how ineffective security retaliation in and near stations/settlements to be poor as well.

Also how does any of this affect combat logging in regards to PvP again the attacker is attacking inside the NFZ

See here's the thing, the problem ISNT the stations power or how quickly it can destroy people, that is perfectly fine.

The problem is the suicidal NPC's which is getting fixed, once that is fixed, then there is no problem?

No. The OP rammed the other craft at over 100ms and at one point was less than 3 meters from the ground. In short, they crashed.

Oh, misunderstood, if OP rammed them then no problem, though naturally they shouldn't be actively trying to ram into players too, but yeah if OP rammed them, then this isn't an issue.
