So, the game asked for my money. I pre-ordered what is now known as 'Season 1'. I enjoyed the hell out of Elite in Season 1. Enjoyed it so much and spent so many happy hours playing it, I figured I got the game for a bargain. So, I pre-ordered Horizons. Thinking, even if Horizons is a total bust, I still feel I got my money's worth. Horizons is not a bust. And I'm enjoying it as well. Which for me decides that I'll probably fork over the money for season 3 as well, using the same logic.Let's just call like it is. A game that's asking for your money year on end, still "in development", and requesting that you excuse everything until its done in the next 8 years.
I'm posting this since I get the sense from your posts that you see me as some sort of schmuck who is paying Frontier based on a long-8-year-term promise. I don't have to excuse a damn thing. I love the game as it stands. (Disclaimer pre-empting strawmen: no, that does not mean I think it's perfect or beyond criticism.)
I get the feeling that you might feel a smug sense of superiority over the sheeple who are conned by FD, and you of course can see through their dastardly schemes and if only we could see things as you did we'd all be off much better.
But then again, I might interpret that all wrong, and in that case, forget I said anything
