Ummm..... I agree it's a bit high. And after my most recent and hilarious incident with the face of a planet and my Asp, I had a look into the statistics screen.
...I could buy a Python with the amount of insurance claims I have paid out.

Post if you can better this, show Flimley he is not the most flakey pilot in the galaxy.

Well, I do PvP (proper one, no sealclubbing) a lot and I lost my battle Cutter twice, because of my stupid "Win or die" PvP policy.
The others were usually Clippers and FdLs.

I wrecked my Clipper in an asteroid field ONCE. Other than that there were all lost battles.

Stayed under 10 mil until I decided I needed coffee more than I needed to coddle the DC in my Conda. I was rewarded with a 12million credit coffee. DC lulled me into complacency and trust again over the next month, and then did the same thing to my cutter.

And just to twist the knife a bit during the "Crash Your 'Conda Day - Docking Computers Unite!" celebration I had about 12 million in bounties I lost as well...

Heh, just what happened with my Cutter. Trust DC, it gives me a rebuy screen. Haven't let DC unattended from since for any reason - sod the doorbell and phone, they can wait.

That is bad, but I think you have to keep an eye on it. I would ticket it. The DC needs a leash; I have said it before, drop the landing gear, works for me.

Yesterday, in my Clipper, in the station, running on DC, the ship suddenly thrusts upwards, to avoid an NPC. It gave me a a fright as the upper pads, got closer and closer. It landed Ok though.

-.- ... had the DC kick boost INSIDE the station - am I so glad that at that point I could take control and that the ship had 8 shield boosters... My boyfriend laughed his rear off for me cursing the DC and its antics...

The DC is actually supremely skilled. It just has a cruel streak sometimes. I've seen it wedge my Conda in the outer edge of the toaster between the grill and an Ad so masterfully that it took me literally a full minute and 90% of my 1200+ shields to wrench myself out of it.
