Your passions amazes me :)

Reading up on your DW adventures I see so much passion and dedication that it makes me smile :)
I've been called away 3 times since I got to WP6 in DW(just got back from Berlin) but once in a while i have been reading the forums and loving every minute of it.
Well done Erimus & Dr. Kaii and all the other DW hard workers. [heart]
Well done the many pilots who have finished or will finish DW soon

Finally, this afternoon, I will be updating my lists in my threads, and firing up ED (I swear I will this time) and will land at every WP, at the correct co-ordinates, and will zoom towards Beagle Point.
I will not do a single scan, or look at my system map as the purpose of my journey is to get to BP as fast as possible :)

Fly safe Commanders o7

New extreme class for BuckyBall Racing: Sol (Daedalus Station) - Beagle Point (have to land & dismiss ship on DW landing planet) - Sol (Daedalus Station) :D

That has been done already: read up on Hanekura Shizuka's account here, it's a great read. At least one other Commander, Takaru Minari, has also done the whole route, and there may have been others since that I missed.

Yip. I eventually embraced the System Map slowness :) I found not opening the darn thing brought my usual jump time down from around 1m 15s to around 48s - and as added bonus I have no idea what I missed!

Welcome back. The FGE is meeting at WP18 this weekend and it's generally increment 1 per week from there. Rather than zoom on by, drop by and say hi!

Fly swift and safe Cmdr o7

In my conda I scan systems while aligning to the next jump, and look at the sysmap during the 5s it takes to spool up the FSD. If I see anything worth a scan, I abort the jump. It makes for a quick pace, while still finding nice things like ELWs.

Could always open the sys map while the FSD is charging up. Can keep the throttle at 50% so it won't jump until you're ready.

That's exactly what I do, and it really doesn't seem to slow me down hardly at all compared to simply blowing through. I'm just too curious to at least not LOOK at the system map. :D
