I've been cruising around the outskirts of the EORM PHYLOI AA-A H13 nebula, a bit of an odd duck, sitting 2000ly above the galactic core. I have found some incredible vistas in the nearby systems. Words do not do it justice, and neither do screenshots or videos, but it's the best I have. Enjoy.
The area is littered with black holes, neutron stars and white dwarves; it's a stellar graveyard. Zombie stars all over. The main attractions so far was the red giant I caught from a close by planet surface against the backdrop of the nebula and the galactic plane, and the system with two incredibly close binary moons where I caught snapshots of the surface, the binary, the parent gas giant, the nebula and the galactic core - all in a single image. Just... wow.
