Is there a guild, or group of Independent traders such as myself?
I'm not pledged to any power, nor do I hold rank in the Federation, or Empire.
If there is any likeminded pilots out there, feel free to drop by Witchhaul.

not sure about independent maybe look on something like innra will give group info. I think most are pledged to a power. Could make a company your self if needed, I do mainly do trade/hunting with my fleet and while I'm grinding ranks in both fed's and empire eventually its mainly for the ships, I'd join you if you just do casual play

I'm independent also. I do have Federation and Imperial ranks, but that's just from business & bounties. I'm not pledged, and am not likely to.

there are quite some independent trader groups, many of them with a xbox division. hutton truckers come into my mind, but there are more, and i'm positive you'll find one to your liking!
