Things in ED that make you scratch your head!

NPCs magically appearing in front of you

NPCs locking on to you at 3km with silent running on

NPCs shooting 32 or more rail shots

NPCs know what missions you are doing

NPCs shoot and hit with gimballed weaponary with silent running on

NPCs interticting a Corvette in an Eagle

NPCs

Black holes don't pull you in and are not dangerous, only visual

Lack of comets, asteorids

The blue spot makes me turn faster

FAoff let's me move faster backwards

Kinetic weapons are better against shields

A Diamondback Scout having more armor than an Anaconda

Small hardpoints on big ships

"We are in the money making business, are you?" 500 cr reward

Hostile reputation docking permission

CQC Silent Running doesn't hide you on the radar, nor does it deny gimballed weaponary for 100%

Slowing down with manouverign thrusters in big ships is faster than accelerating with the main thrusters

NPCs don't lock onto you when firing and you use SR, if they use turrets or gimballs they simply turn them to fixed mode. They actually get more accuracy if you force them to fix their weapons with silent running.

Black holes don't pull, every time you drop out of supercruise you get put into orbit. The nerf to black holes was bull.

People are sick. Half thargoid half human? God that alone might push me to Robigo to kill every person out there.

Uhh.. no.. that's a green Orion slave girl from Star Trek original series :p

In the later series "Enterprise" they looked like this:

That needs some testing I think, I recently got into a fight with an NPC and despite silent running, I could have sworn his lasers were hitting me despite him not being perfectly aligned towards me.

NPCs are demi-gods if you haven't realized. They probably bent reality around the lasers.

How do CMDRs in ships smaller than a sidewinder go to the toilet? I mean, there can't be much room in those Condors! Do you.... erm... you know, tube up the jacksie? Ugh... CQC will never be the same again!

"We are in the money making business, are you?" 500 cr reward

If that's the dialogue for an alternate mission reward (e.g. for a multi-million smuggling mission) then they're definitely in the money-making business if they only give you 500 bucks for your mission. Makes perfect sense to me :D

Lol AA, but really, we don't need toilets as in the bubble we're only a couple of minutes away from a station!
Maybe the 16 hour round trip to sag a* needs one but you could fit a module for such trips :)

There are times when you are interdicted when a quick trip to the toilet is required!

I've never seen the time counter as 1 to 1.
Trips take minutes because of our attention spans and keeping everything relative in a multiplayer environment.
The original ED had it more accurate with slowing time for our pilots. So a trip from Earth to Pluto took weeks to months, but still only minutes of game time. Some suspension of disbelief is required, but the game does have to be playable.

How can any ship in the game manage a perfect landing on a very rough planet surface with no docking computer and zero interaction from me yet my Federal Dropship wallows around like a very drunk old man using a docking computer module trying to get to a known landing pad with a perfectly configured space station?

1) Trade ships are significantly worse than any other ship in almost all aspects. Worse shields, worse hard-points, worse speed, worse internals and worse manoeuvrability. Their only benefit is a very minor cost reduction in purchase and operating, overall savings probably about 10,000Cr per mil so totally negligible considering a multipurpose ship will help you fight/escape which can cost significantly more in repairs if you use T type ships.

2) Emergency life support can only be refreshed in stations, why can't I repair my life support and then output enough to increase my reserve tank back to 100%, even add it as a synthesis materials thing if you want...

Fer De lance is named after a snake not a spear tip afaik.

Bonus:
That part of the community that complains repeatedly, refuses to argue or get in any form of debate about facts and information and keeps posting negatives despite never actually adding anything constructive to the solution.

Agree, i found that one funny.

it's a snake alright.

"Fer-de-lance, Bothrops asper is a venomous pit viper species ranging from southern Mexico to northern South America. Sometimes referred to as the "ultimate pit viper", these snakes are found in a wide range of lowland habitats, often near human habitations."

Theoretically projectile weapons should all have infinite range, and energy weapons significant (but not infinite due to dispersal) range. It's been clipped down to "ww2 fighter plane" type ranges for playability... and so you don't get wiped out by a random rail blast from a firefight several lightseconds away.

In a balanced game, if you picked a longer range weapon you'd be giving up tracking/rate of fire or something.

This is part of the problem why 75% of ships are redundant or obsolete. No roles or differences of note between ships/combat styles. all brawlers.

Putting a Cargo Hatch on the Vulture and FDL! Blinding flash of the obvious    .

Hey! Even the Ferrari 458 has a boot. Albeit small. And in the nose. And unable to open from the inside, so if someone locked a very small child inside they couldn't get out again, BUT it does have a boot.

Law and Order: Loitering is DEATH and murder is a fine of 6K

PowerPlay: All faction leaders are murderous religious fanatics that reward blatant murder of other faction members

PowerPlay: Actions from PP leaders does not have any diplomatic impact on the universe (Imperial senator taking fleets into battle in FED systems)

Wanted: Whenever a crime is committed I am identified immediately and fined but no APB is issued on my SHIP and cops must scan me to see if im wanted first.

-Radar that weigh 140T that just have 7.5km range in space and only detect thermic signature.:O

-Laser that have only 2.5km efficient range when my brother had one in his pocket producing very efficient light at 2.5km today in atmosphere.:O

-Fixed weaponry when today we already have very powerful, fast and precise mechanized arm associated with efficient sensor and computer control.:O

- Game called mmo when it take 1 hour to have nine player at same place, at same moment.

-People that call trading, buying and selling infinite resources in two near system, where any of them have any demand, having high profit, with no evolution any of the market. :O

-Game called rpg where you cannot put in garage a ship with stuff in cargo. :O

Look like i've lost all my scalp.
