More stations under construction

I'd like to see more stations in various stages of construction - mainly just because it would increase variety a bit. And the models are already built for this, but just used far too rarely.

I assume it would take several years to construct a station, so seeing one should not be that uncommon. As a reminder, here is the image from Newsletter 62:

We've also been promised CQC assets in the main game eventually, so that should help as well. I'd really like more station diversity.

+1, nothing controversial here. Must support.

As an addition to this I would like to see more variation across the board especially to the interiors of the big stations.

I somewhat suspect the reason we aren't getting it is that they are going to rework these anyway for when we get the ability to walk around inside stations (potentially season 4?). According to David they are already working on season 4 to some extent so maybe it's already in the pipeline...its just going to get a while until we get to see it.

There is one thing I would like to see done to the interiors while waiting though that wouldn't really need that much in asset creation at least (might be code reasons stopping it though I guess). Something I've mentioned several times before.

Populating the interior landing pads and buildings based of the economic state and population. Having some landing pads being shut down if the economy is bad. Or if the station is recently new and the population isn't that big not having all slots populated. Then having the populated slots grouped together in "islands" thus giving you the sense of flying over "minicities" in the interior. Thus giving some character to the interior and not having them fully populated all the time.
