Better speed on the conda?

Base mass is weird cos of FSD balancing.

IMO FD should balance FSD by giving each ship a baked in modifier. Less "realistic" but mroe so than pythons only weighing 350t and FASes being almsot as heavy as Condas

Plus it means we can finally get a midrange combat explorer

1. The Conda's thrusters are not huge, Cutter's are.
2. The mass of the Conda is not 'heavy' it is actually lighter than the dropship series
3. The Conda is not a combat ship, it is multiourpose
4. This is yet another "buff this" thread without any deeper meaning and detailed reasoning.

Actually, the mass on the Conda is a common issue in a lot of threads. It's very low for the ship's size.

Have you seen the thing? Basically skinned with tinfoil and has Ikea brackets supporting the upper hull. But yeah, the mass is totally wacked out.

It's crazy that a Conda only weighs 50 tons more than a Python yet has twice the armor.

<insert vet joke here>

Sure thing :D

A man rushes his limp dog to the veterinarian. The doctor pronounces the dog dead. The agitated man demands a second opinion.

The vet goes into the back room and comes out with a cat. The cat sniffs the body and meows. The vet says, "I'm sorry, but the cat thinks that your dog is dead, too."

The man is still unwilling to accept that his dog is dead.

The vet brings in a black Labrador. The lab sniffs the body and barks. The vet says, "I'm sorry, but the lab thinks your dog is dead, too."

The man finally resigns to the diagnosis and asks how much he owes. The vet answers, "$650."

"$650 to tell me my dog is dead?" exclaims the man.

"Well," the vet replies, "I would only have charged you $50 for my initial diagnosis. The additional $600 is for the cat scan and lab tests."

Let's just wait for Engineers, I suspect a lot of the change suggestions will be covered by modified components which will offer the desired stat, but with consequences.

In the 1960's the Mercury Astronauts used the Atlas 1 to get into orbit. It was so flimsy that it need the pressure from the fuel to keep it standing upright and not collapsing under its own weight. The Anaconda is the same. I have one and it got down to fumes and it started to bend like a banana! :O
