The Weekend + Elite = Your plans... Tell us Everything!

To those going to war, we salute you! o7

KillaALF Good luck on getting Elite Combat, let us all know when you get it so we can congratulate you in style!

At first I read that as I'd rather pick up dog poop than play E: D... Then I had to read it again.
You see, I read one thing and Gentleman Jack is telling me something else.
Anyhoo, if I may make a (hypothetical) suggestion:
While driving back:
Or while playing E: D:
It's all about time management...

This was a fun read after a long day :)

Well, these dogs don't travel well so we have the son (yes, Ryan) stay with them whilst we travel. And, true to form, instead of WALKING the dogs (3 of them) like he says he will, he lets them out in the side yard to do their business. So, an extra chore awaits upon my arrival home, as anticipated..

Tonight, wandering around in my Corvette..

After a few days of reassuring myself my fighting skills are still there and some long thinking I've stored the Sundog at a secret location and purchased a second-hand Asp Explorer - where we're going I'm not even sure that'll have the range so taken the SRV too in case we have to hunt materials. It shall currently remain nameless and in it's ex-military drab olive but I'm not sure that'll last once we're back.

The view is wonderful, having an actual suite to sleep in is wonderful but it just doesn't smell right. I know you're in the suit most of the time but when you've set down familiarity is everything.

So our First Little Expedition begins - off to investigate some very suspicious stars following a clue I think has been read backwards. And we're going armed - any civilisation that can rearrange the stars worries me. Currently lurking at a safe distance from the Pleiades before striking out into the lesser known. Good luck to all those off on the First Great Expedition, next time! Same some of the best views for us

Been doing trade CG in my iClipper. It's been fun. I've got it where I can boost into the slot, go fa off to spin around and boost in the other direction to come to a stop before adjusting and landing. Sure, I'm collecting a few fines here and there, but boy is it fun.

This weekend I am back at Cubeo, doing surface missions from Lubbock Penal Colony in my Viper MKIV. I have the Python parked up at Weaver Vision to stack some hauling/smuggling just for a bit of variety.
Last week I finished ranking up with the Federation, now I am trying to achieve the same thing with the Empire. Later on I plan on doing the same in Alliance space.
I was doing ok in Cubeo before going over to Fed space, stacking the 'Cut the Power/Data Gathering/Cracking Down' missions at Metcalf Keep +++, but lately I have been getting fines and dormant bounties
for doing the exact same missions, the exact same way as before. It got me thinking. The minor faction at Metcalf Keep +++ is the Cubeo Purple Deeds.
Maybe it's because I have been blowing up Cubeo Purple Deeds turrets and generators for so long that my reputation with them diminished.
So now I am taking on missions just for Cubeo Purple Deeds, to ally myself with them and to find out if I can do those same surface missions without earning dormant bounties while I am in their good books.

I plan on doing the same thing I did last weekend. Work 12 hour (or more) shifts and come home dog tired. I'll still get an hour or so in for each day. Might head to Robigo if I get off work early Sunday.

This weekend begins a campaign of trying to find some of these missions DB says no one's even seen. My explore beyond Barnard's proved fruitless - the area is totally trampled - so visiting some POI's on the way back to pick up the Cobra and do some 'normal' stuff while planning what's next. It's time to pick the next goal

I was going to open a new thread for this week but this one will serve the purpose just as well!

I'll be spending the weekend getting my website ready for a re-launch next week after applying to have a minor faction in the game!

I'll have to write a backstory and start to gather some of the information I need for the various pages... All while avoiding the temptation to load up and fly...

I'm going to try doing a Robigo run or two. I've never tried smuggling before. I've only ever done bounty and RES hunting. But I really want an FDL. Anyone have any advice with regards to Robigo runs that may assist a complete smuggling noob? Feel free to PM me. Thanks in advance.

Good luck! It's always good to try and do something new and challenge yourself!

got my APA yesterday, so this weekend it will be stresstested like crazy!

Give it hell Conch! ;)

My plans for the weekend? Playing 'Satelite Reign' and Battlefield 4.

Don't know what to do with Elite at the moment. Got my ships, PvP is not supported enough, PvE is mega boring.

I actually reached Obsidian Orbital for the first time last night. So I'm gonna take it from there and do some exploration. I just equipped my DBX with a tiny shield so I can land on planets as well. :D

Edit: But first, I'm gonna play Everybody's gone to the Rapture. And some Ori and the Blind Forest. ;)
