Revamped outfitting

okay, I apologize for the dupe if applicable (I suck at searching for things around here) but with everyone excited or worried about different things, I haven't seen a thing about the most important change in the outfitting and ship stats.

WE HAVE ACTUAL NUMBERS! :D

I don't know about others (that's why I am opening this to discussion) but as far as understanding of mechanics go, this is a game-changer.

Oh God Yes!

I've been craving an update to the Outfitting (and Shipyard) for ages!

Personally, I'd like to see more ship information in the shipyard for ships docked at other stations, and more information in general.

Looking pretty decent. Old outfitting UI is so goddamn awful that any change is more than welcome.

I hope they won't forget to add ship spinning. Several fixed cameras is another major PITA there.

Seconded - I really hope the new 'modular' front end (select the type of module, then into a sub-screen to sub-select the variant) flows through to the internal modules as well.

Sorting alphabetically to see (e.g.) all the shield generators, has been painful for a long while.

Agreed a major step in the right direction, now we just need to find the engineer that can clean the canopy windows..;)

Interesting new mechanic! Wipers!
E-rated would do smudges, while A-rated would work even in corners.

They would weight 2 tons for a Sidey and 256 tons on a Cutter. As it should be!

Looks like a nice improvement and one of my favorite things to do is outfit ships. Wish there were more ships to outfit and modules to outfit them with though....and a credit balance like that so I could spend most of my time outfitting ships.

I am detecting hints of Alt-aholism here! I'm going to ask you a question, and be honest: How many hours did you spend creating characters in Skyrim before you ever escaped that cave?

Cargo loading interface could use some love as well. Like the ability to load percentages of cargo. Entering a fixed number for tonnage vs holding down a </> and zipping past your desired tonnage. Filling a 1500 tonne cargo hold is a PIA currently.
