By all means if you genuinely think it's 'fake information' for me to say that in based on the numbers taken from INARA one faction is bigger than the rest, when the numbers are clear and the caveat was explained, by all means report it to a moderator to be taken down under forum rules.

However for the rest of us on the outside looking in, who have no horse in this race beyond being interested in your space politicking, these numbers make for an interesting at a glance piece of info.

But that being said, if you know their is a problem with your data, you shouldn't post it. Maybe post the DF's numbers, but leave ours out if you don't know them. Just say ... unknown... we like being mysterious.

I think "misleading" would be more appropriate, perhaps. Communism Interstellar do not have an Inara profile, for example. Nor do the Mercs, to the best of my knowledge.

I didn't even know this was going on. I just searched Border Coalition to find my own thread. Thats a horrible discription for us.... Its a description for the Mercs mostly. In fact, none of our three groups knew this was going on. Somehow the comments are full of all of our competitors.

For what its worth, I don't those numbers to heart, and neither should anyone else. All it means is how many pilots you have registered on Inara, not an accurate number of pilots who will be flying for you and doing CGs. That is what will really matter!

I really, really don't want to discourage any other group because of charts, I'd rather they get galvanized by and fight even harder!

Incorrect, actually. There's a lot that went into the Top 5 and Wildcard list as it sits right now. If Border Coalition or GalCop wins it will not be the "qualifying" faction that wins the contest, it will be the coalition itself. If GalCop won, Diamond Frogs would not be the new Power even though it's our faction that acts as the qualifying anchor of sorts for the GalCop entry into the contest. Galcop would be the new power. The same stands to be said for if Border Coalition won. The other three entries in the top 5, IIRC, are single player factions however and those factions would be elevated to the level of a Power if they win the competition rather than one of the coalitions.

There's also no stopping anyone from supporting anyone else.

Edit: From reading the two threads and the input from Zac this is what I'm left to believe, at least. I could be wrong.

This is like interpreting a holly book. Your bias makes me skeptical. Thank you though for the insightful input. From what I read and understand this is not what FD wanted.
