A few weeks ago, there was a CG where the Feds wanted to built a new Farragut. It was popular, mostly with people who wanted to stop it because it was warmongering, building a battle cruiser off the back of common folk. Well, true or not, it created a lot of noise and protest in the forums.

Yesterday, a CG started where the Imps are doing the same to build a Majestic.

I am deafened by the noise from that tumbleweed.

Only seen a Farragut once... sitting "lifeless" @ Sol. Never seen a Majestic. Pretty sure they could build another 5 of each and I'd not notice.

They're big and pretty, and much like Farraguts exist solely to be targets and to steal kills in conflict zones.
At least, that's my experience.

I would say "Aggressive Negotiations" is the traditional formulation.
When politicians wants to kill groups of people, but don't want to say just that.

Strikes me as being vary similar to how the United States is treated as compared to other communist countries. Different standards are applied.

OK, according to your starter post; the Feds, started the big ship building thing. They started it!!!

However: Everyone, needs to be building big ships etc, better weapons etc.. Why? Some really bad guys are coming to kill all the human clones. Arm up and let the nightmare begin.
