Back to my starter Hotas X

When I started this game it seemed pretty obvious that a joystick would be a great addition for the dreaded 'I' word. I chose the amazing value Thrustmaster T-Flight Hotas X..loved it in the early days, but decided to buy a Logitech 3D Pro after using a friend's (in a flight sim) about 2 months later.

All I can say is I love the Logitech, it really suits my technique with fixed weapons. However it has now stopped working & I have dusted off my old Hotas X..and well how can I put this succinctly..I'm about as accurate as Robert Soldado in a Spurs shirt (for those who don't follow the beautiful game..that means I can't hit a barn door with a banjo at the moment!).

The biggest problem I have is overcompensating & fine adjustments - Any tips?? until I decide on my next purchase with the new ranges coming to market soon! Here is my latest attempt so you know the level to pitch the advice..& please refrain from such derogatory comments as 'maybe this isn't the game for you' :p

Hi Troy, I use T-Flight and never tried anything else, so I can´t compare. I simply try to do my best of what I have. But I understand that you now miss a more precise stick. All you can do is experiment with different sensiblity settings and adapt to it. I also heard about this program that helps with smoothing the movements:

LOL Cmdr Adored got me into the game..'can't believe I missed that vid!!! I'll definitely try that out, thanks :)

Same here. Just get a new primary stick and use the hotas X for your off hand (thrusters & throttle)

Yeah, I never considered doing that..'guess it could work really well for FA off too!

I use and love a number of Logitech products but their joystick does not seem to hold up well. I bought one for my son to play ED and it didn't last a year.
