Update 1.5.04 - Patch Notes

Topics that need to be addressed -

1) I'm (we) still waiting for an update where it doesn't reset my control layout after we download an update. Let us make custom layouts and save them to the cloud. -_-

2) We Xbox Game Preview buyers are still waiting on confirmation on what items/goods we can get as a 'Thank You.' It's a season pass, a chunk of frontier points, something...

1) No issues for me

2) Wasn't playing the game 4 months before Non-GPP users and getting the game cheaper enough?

1) Oh no! A game-fixing update reset my options! This is the worst patch ever! /s
Seriously, it's a well worth trade off if the game works for everybody but you have to retweak your options.

2) We get a Decal with 1.6, plus we got the game for cheaper and before it was full release. Sounds pretty good already to me.

Agreed! Well said.

Hi, yes thanks for updates....
Maybe only a few worked out how to make a solid income from trading to keep an Anaconda.... Hence "Updated galactic mean commodity prices" ..... WHY ?

In the good old days, (last week) my Anaconda trade per 400 cargo.... 1mil, (one way) now it is 200,000..... (lost 800,000 per trip) Given an Anaconda is too big to land at most ports reduces trade missions by 2/3.... and other 1/3 missions are always one rank higher... and for insult i cant do lower missions because i am ranked too high (i mean really) this leaves nothing....

Hence. fuel costs, ammo, repairs, insurance, feed the family etc..... And every thing-a-me-jig on an Anaconda cost 20 mil, it is really not worth keeping it any more... (added to this 10 mil insurance 5.5mil cargo, i lose it once i am back in a side winder, The risk at 1mil per trip hence 15 trips maybe.. Now this is blown out to 75 trips just to recover from 1 death....

The point being given missions a Python has a better trading income average.... and that is not how it should be....
So yes i will moth-ball the Anaconda, that is life, Given i just got it, i am not happy about it....

Cheers Stu

Revise your trade route, because that's a poor route to complain about. There'a plenty of far more lucrative traditional spots than that.

Hi commanders, we've pushed out an update this morning for Elite Dangerous on the Xbox One. The Update will be available from 07:00 BST (06:00 UTC) and is a 124MB download.

Please note that there has been a report of this update resetting Option Settings.

CLIENT UPDATES
- Fix for Inventory Item paging issue which prevented some users from entering the game.
- Fix for title not allow the user to connect to Frontier Servers following an Xbox profile change during a constrained state.
- Improvements to Wing formation, connections and communications.

P.S., if you're wondering where version 1.5.03 went, I ate it (it tasted good). :D

all this time I thought Patch 7 8 9. My mind hurts now.

Please fix the new bug. Station keeps disappearing then reappearing. Crashed into the ring of one that wasn't there then suddenly it was, after I took off and turned to face destination. This ship isn't cheap to replace...

Something I'd like to see added is an option to switch seats in those ships that have side-by-side seating, like in the Clipper for example. Seeing videos about the ship I notice you pilot it from the right side, which is fine for you Brits but not everyone drives on the right side, lol. It would be nice if we could switch over to the other side if we'd like, put the option in the game settings or something.

I doubt this would be a thing though. Unless it already is, then this was a wasted post, lol. I have 2 center-seat ships ATM (Asp, Vulture).

I second this.
Feels weird in the FDL on the right side.
It would be cool if those types of ships could be made center seat if desired tbh.
Obviously most of the ships dashboards would have to change for center seats so it's probably not gonna happen anytime soon if at all but still a cool idea.

Hi
Actually No; I think your missing the point, One Station, one jump, straight up trade 2,660 profit per unit wiped out, gone.... 1,064,000c (what happened to the free trade agreement ?)

current Commodities Market..... every tradie Knows "Coffee" for 1,400 a unit is not a bargain, and just because the Galactic average says 1,450; trust me they are lying to you.... GA really is 1,280
And just because a "Station" Commodity board informs the said commodity is "exported to" that doesn't mean it is for profit.... (You can get burned big time here)
You may say trading in "Rares" is the way to go... fair call,, straight port to port, (13 port) maybe 50 jumps picked up 70 Rares sold for 2.5mil at the end...

Then again if i had brought "coffee" for a good price, 1,100c x 400 units = 440,000c ( I know; what can you do, hard to make a buck these days) sold it GA 1,280c = 180c profit x 400 = 72,000c x 50 jumps 25 (port to port) = 3.6mil means; Rares suck....

Ha - Ha you say.... what if you predict what trade missions are on your next ports Bulletin Board... so we take Coffee, Tea, Gain, Painite per-say,,, Once upon a time that was alot of fun with a good chance of being right... these days the odds are against you....(Very Noticeable)
Giving Miniing, it appears the max Painite is down by 4,500c.... that being said the port cheat/ glich is still there....

My view; trading is far less fun, more difficult, while everything is more averaged, losses are two to three times greater.... minor items values are up, mid item are the same 1000 profit a unit, max profit is 2/3 less in trade. 10% less in mining....

Yes, slave trade value is up.... However; i mean really, One pre ton... Even air line luggage is only 30kg... Given you can get 16 in a lift and the average person is 90kg + 30kg luggage, surely you can fit 4 pre ton in a ship.... 64,000c (O-O)7
The New commodities, My view Small ship gain, Big ships lose, mission are rare, over all trade profit are far less.... ( A single NPC can shoot 75,000c worth of repairs in Anaconda)

All fun & games, cheers Stu
