I was interdicted after I was at a nav beacon cleaning up before I turned it in last night. I was in the sol system and was interdicted by a human player name summit soldier. I put up a great fight with this guy using all of my tactics to escape his Corvette. My Cobra was already damaged from fighting NPC'S at the nav beacon. However, his knowledge of the game was far superior than mine. I thought I actually was about to get away and jump into another system but my canopy was cracked and I jumped into the same system he waited and interdicted me again(awesome)! I did not know who or what I was fighting. I finally turned and saw the corvette and got a lock by than I was finished. Some players may call what this player did unfair but it is Elite Dangerous, be ready for anything. However, tonight I am going back to sol! It would be nice if this game had rival alerts!

Great attitude :)

Next time, just use the Cobra's speed to escape. The best player in the world won't get through a Corvette's shield using a Cobra.

Unless I'm flying the Corvette :(

Am I the only one that by impulse alone would just run from another player in a bigger ship than mine?

Also OP is dead, long live OP.

I wouldn't have stayed and fought. I'd have been gone. Not sure why a corvette would have such a need to kill a cobra. Then again there could be more to the story. Powerplay, bounty, any of this apply?

Very brave, attacking a Cobra with a PvP fitted Corvette, I'm impressed...really, I am...

/sarcasm

I like you, most people would of posted some not fair I want a refund rubbish after that skirmish .

I would of legged it .

I think it's about time that we Xbox players started up a wing of CG 'Roadrunners'... All equipped with Cobras and FSD interdictors, just interdicting all the gankers hanging around a system in their lovely Corvettes looking for weak targets... persistently... then just typing in "Meep-meep!" and legging it.

Even the most dedicated ganker will log or hi-wake after being interdicted 12 times in a row by something he can't catch :)

Is the Cobra even heavy enough to interdict something like a Corvette consistently? Seems like it would be in the Corvettes favor, and they'd be good at interdictions already on top of the mass difference?

It was a tactic some of the PC players used during a recent CG after it turned into a gankfest (as usual)... there were also wings of 'Suicide Sidewinders' doing the same.

After all, it's fun paying them back in kind and who cares about the rebuy on a Sidey or Cobra if it fails now and then? There's a good few of us with enough creds to rebuy both several 100's of times over... and are reasonably skilled at interdictions and flying if not PvP combat... the point isn't to fight them, just annoy them with the persistent interdictions..

If they're being interdicted at every turn, then they're not blowing up the traders in T6's for lolz :)

Doesn't matter if it works or not, as long as it annoys them :D

If we can form the 'suicide sidewinder squad' it may be enough to bring me back to the bubble....oh the joys

The suicide sidewinders tactic was to interdict the combat ships as a wing of 2 or 3.... then ram themselves to death in front of the combat ship without firing a shot or hitting the ship they had interdicted :)

It may be pointless... but it sure is funny... and annoying :D

This player is on a lot of factions KOS list. I believe we've taken him out a time or two (can't really remember). He messaged me once saying he terrorizes systems. So watch out for him if you're not familiar with pvp with huge ships.

Just checked out this guys Xbox feed. Loads of video's of him attacking smaller, faction-less ships in his Corvette... What an utter scumbag...
