Your TOP 3 wish-list items for the Elite...

NPC wing men with all the mission additions which would be possible (escort and protect etc)

NPC crewmen complete with all the rpging to find/train quality crew and possible death/loss.

more "life" on planets surface (when it makes sense), SRVs doing their thing, manned mining outposts etc etc.

picking just 3 is mega hard, if the game lasts 10 years there is heaps and heaps to be added, but the top 3 I think needs to be added sooner rather than later imo, and also - the 1st 2 at least - would benefit the core game - tho of course some crew would probably be found on surface bases.

incidently as an aside..... I was at the launch event, and I *think* Ian Bell was there. I was not 100% certain if it was him or not, and even if I had of been I do not think I would have had the confidence to go and talk to him, despite being one of the 2some who made what I consider to be the best videogame ever made.

1. Bug free operation of all parts of E: D.
2. Decide on what PvP is supposed to be in this game and inform the PVP players.

1) Proper MMO features (yes is a multiple part wish)
2) 15 minutes delay to combat logs (alternate punish the logger with at least one week ban to solo to help the guy to choose his preferred mode)
3) 15 minutes delay to combat logs (alternate punish the logger with at least one week ban to solo to help the guy to choose his preferred mode)
I know 2 and 3 are the same wish, but i really love this to be solved properly, personally i encounter too many combat loggers.

1. A teasmade.
2. A teasmade.
3. A teasmade.

I think this will be in 2.1 with the engineers. They take up a class 2 internal slot.

3. A justice system that doesn't encourage people to switch off their games and go and do something else for a couple of days while they are waiting for their bounties to disappear

Yes, because there's nowhere else to go in the game but that particular system where the bounty is active.

1. A good seat belt.
2. A pencil with my name on it
3' a left handed shoe......to replace the one that shot out the airlock.

Since when has 3 been 5? :p

1) Alien races (don't care what they are called or how the behave, just that they are there)

2) More ships, loads more (in a galaxy where everyone flies a ship you can only choose from 30 or so? Really)

3) More realistic in game computational power (ships, stations, tools, NPCs, everything because computers 1000 years from now that behave on par with my old 386 DX2 66 are just ridiculous)

oh and as a P.S.

4) The ability to plot a route free of the 1000 light year limit

#1 - Underwater exploration! I'd love a fancy submersible version of the Asp to check out all those water worlds.

#2 - More reasons to advance in the auxiliary navies other than having new ships to play with.

#3 - An Engineer that can put sharks with laser beams attached to their heads on my Sidewinder. :) Failing that, a shark paint job will do.
Actually an engine that was sufficiently protected from water damage and was using the plasma propulsion theory (which is safe to say the ships of elite use) would work underwater.

1. Persistent economy with supply & demand & tools to support this.

2. NPC wingmen & crew. Crew give bonuses to ship systems e.g. An engineer can get more out of your engines, or shields, or wep overheating. Basically any mechanic and NPC crew can +1 it. Ideally would improve over time but also leave/die

3. "Proper" damage model & wear and tear. Meaning also 2nd hand market for ships & modules.

Actual exploration with actual scientific methods, scanners, readouts and infinite variety of actual real galaxy information (in other words redo the stellar forge)

Missions to uncover unique and interesting things, to mundane things with the element of surprise and intrigue. Never knowing what is out there.

Well written missions all around with goals and excitement and drama, and engagement that actually have some sort of impact in the galaxy. Cap ship battles with endings etc.
