New to RES and loving it chaps

Lately I have been asking the community a lot of questions regarding fighter builds and faction affiliation stuff chaps. I was trying to get a feel for the combat side of things before actually doing it, what!
After some great advice from you fellow flyboys/girls, I finally put my credits on the line and converted my trading Asp E into a combat variant. I would like to give utmost thanks to the those who recommended the pulse laser/multi cannon set up. So in the parlance of the day; here goes, props to you hommies! I think I got that right; what, what!

I have been frequenting Resource Extraction Sites of ill repute recently and by jove they are good fun, what? The rush of adrenalin as you zip through asteroid belts at break neck speeds performing the dance of death with your quarry is second to none. I don't think I have felt this alive since the Queen (god bless her) gave her 200th anniversary speech, sniff but i digress.

I would also like to talk about the credits! They just seem to flow into ones account, what? It was only upon returning to the local station for some much needed ammo and a good cup of tea that i realised just how many credits I had just earned in about 20 minutes, what!

Once more orf into the big black dear firends, what!

Good hunting to each and every one of you; what, what!

Great fun. I think high res are better than hazardous res, although compromised nav beacons are better than both.

Great to see a spiffing gent enjoy some good sport and tea afterwards. What part of the great British isles do you hail from good sir? Me and some of the chaps were having a merry old time with a rather ghastly anaconda last night. But we showed him some stiff upper lip and sent him on his way! Hope to see you in the void old bean.

Tally Ho!

You sir are a wit and a gentleman, good show old boy what, what!

I am from london sir, having served my youth apprenticeships cleaning out the khazi at Biggin Hill, what! Halcyon days indeed; what, what!

Sorry to hear that you had some bother with one of those pesky anocondas, what!

Always best from what I hear to give them six of the best trousers down, what.

Chin, chin old man and may I venture a toodly pipsky fine sir.

i always found hazardous resource sites more reliable than compromised nav beacons, the latter was usually full of small fish in eagles and adders whereas Hazardous Resource sites were a reliable source of Pythons & clippers with Bounties in excess of 100K each along with many Anacondas with 250k +

could be wrong only set foot in 3 compromised beacons before.

Depends if you're grinding credits or rank. An elite Viper advances your rank just as much as an elite Anaconda

Totally agree, though TBH I think both are still subject to the luck of the spawn...I've had plenty of anacondas at a CNB as well as a HazRes.

Personally I much prefer the CNB as I don't seem to get the massive periods of nothing to shoot that always happens to me when in a Res. Admittedly I am more interested in the rating of the opponent rather than the monetary value, so may also be slightly biased towards the CNB.

Woo hoo, In got res + res Haz and a compromised beacon in one system:) just need to get my ship repaired and I'm back at it[big grin]
