If you go to a quiet place in the Bubble you can just as easy 'hide' in Open.

And you know what? From the anecdotal evidence on this forum, this is what a lot of players are doing. hell, I did it for about 6 months and in those 6 months I encountered 3 other players.

So you can add, backwater systems to your 'problem'.

I would say the basic space gameplay is being able to fly through space. I mean, how would you trade or pirate if you can't fly through space? HOW?????????!!!!!!!!

The topic relies on traders having "fun" in Open. If that can't be achieved then the other roles suffer to some extent if they only want to target other players.
