Are you saying Beta will be available for all Horizons owners?
No, he's trolling you since that only applies to those who bought the deluxe version or have an LEP already.
No, they are saying how to obtain a download for the game, and then to wait for beta to go live. Access to the software is != access to the beta.
D'oh, sorry. I assumed you had access but wanted to know how to get it going. We get these topics every patch because FD doesnt make it particularly obvious what to do. Post edited: if you have access, get the launcher. If you don,t you're SOL.

Currently not. Its not 'deluxe', that term only arrived when Horizons became a Season Pass requiring the base game. What you needed was 'Horizons Beta', which contained Horizons, the base game itself and beta access for one year. It was around $65 or so, pretty steep for those of us who already had ED itself. Regardless, this 'beta horizons' was removed from the store and replaced by 'Deluxe'. Deluxe contains Horizons, the base game and some skins/bobbleheads, but it does not contain beta.
It was quite dear, but I chalked it up to supporting a title I thoroughly enjoy.
You can't even get Delux from the store now so they're likely going to restructure the cost/content of that pack for 2.1.

Actually I really wish they would bring back the lifetime option. I might as well embrace my future up front and get it over with.
Not sure if it's worth the time and effort to provide this option only to sell 100 beta access keys for $10 each.

The more lifetime passes they sell the less income they make from future expansion passes, assuming that the only few new players join with each new season.
Unless I am mistaken, but the associated costs of a click in the store management page is really neglect-able comparing to the total revenue.

Not really if you have finite resources (manpower). Someone has to think about this, discuss it with others, implement this and if it's only ~$1000ish more income, i don't see why bother. I'm not saying it wouldn't be worth it for sure, but i don't think there is any real demand for this beyond few individuals.
