- Killing an NPCs powerplant does not cause them to fall to the surface

- NPC's Drives do not malfunction when damaged

I would like to hear some clarification. Do these points mean this was a bug that is now fixed, or is this a change from previous behaviour?


Or are NPCs supposed to have thrusters that continue to keep them afloat even when power is insufficient? Are NPCs drives now what, immune to damage or do the drives simply function regardless of health?

Let's assume the worst and you gave NPCs these particular immunities: then please remove their drives from the targettable systems in the first place, and don't let them soak up damage that won't do anything anyway. Shooting at a fleeing NPC and hitting their drives means you do less or no damage to the hull - but if hitting the drives doesn't even contribute to potentially stopping them, the drives effectively become indestructible extra armour.
 
It took me 1 hour to read all patch note list. And i can't say that my English is too bad or i'm kinda blind :D

Great work, FD, that's A HUGE (and speaking of huge, thanks for new huge guns!) list, now patiently waiting for Beta testers' videos!

I believe it was the bug that was fixed, so is missing the 'fixed' on the end.

In 2.0 NPCs are not effected by gravity at all, so shooting their thrusters does not cause them to fall. I assume they mean that is now fixed, considering they are adding NPCs to surfaces and the whole gravity bit is supposedly fixed. Would like some clarification too. Then again, we can check it ourselves, FOR SCIENCE!
