When you get the right version of the launcher (final 0.4.5499.0), to update, the engineers is down in the list on the right side of the "play" button!!! Just that!!!! LOL

I started downloading the patch 2.1 around 16:45 cet. I interupted the downloading and resumed. From then i have only this message: "Failed to read from response stream. Network connection closed.". I think its result of server overload. But its almmost 22:00 cet and i still cant download. I start to wory.

Same here mate :( not sure what this is about. Anyone out there know why?

Problem solved.
I deleted alredy downloaded content ....\Products\PUBLIC_TEST_SERVER_64 directory and ....\Products\VirtualCache.xml.
Tried install again patch 2.1. and it worked.
Thx for help.

I ordered Horizons December 10th 2015 as pre-order. But I have no Engineers option and my launcher is the correct version. have I missed something or should I try a complete reinstall?

Ohhhhhh I am a big fat idiot, read through this forum thread again apparently there was a pre-order then a BETA preorder...dangit.

Wasnt there, so now I need to know what to get off of the store to grant beat access since i got the wrong pre-order last year. Is it the delux edition? (best guess as it is the one that says "out now" like it was very recently added.

2 hours and I am no where near half done why is this download so ungodly slow?I have Comcast xfinity but this is ridiculous 0.46 m/s. Does anyone know of a trick to speed up the download.

I played 2.1 a short while yesterday evening, but it's no longer in the launcher options since this morning...

Started downloading 2.1 beta yesterday evening here in Germany (I have the ltp) and I stopped it because it got too late. Today, I only have the option to upgrade to ED 1.6 Missions.....

The issue where the 2.1 beta has suddenly gone missing in the launcher is affecting quite a few players this morning - there are already threads about it in the beta bugs forum and also the support forum. It's a known issue at this point.
