watching 2.1 Beta streams

Just got here from various streams and good lord im just so excited for us Xbox lot, im so stoked at the changes for 1.6 and Horizons\Engineers 2.1 is going to bring i actually have butterflys in my stomach like i am a small child at the beginning of December knowing there is a great chance of that present i so dearly want come Christmas day.... oh the wait is going to be hard and im a very patient gamer.

Anyone else been glued to streams like me utterly teasing themselves at what they see?

I've been watching EVERYTHING Horizons related, but I made the mistake of watching the Elite: Dangerous Horizons trailer on Gamespot's channel too. There's only 10,000 views there, but the comments are cancer... "Why waste JFK's speech on such a        game?" *Siiigh*

I'm sitting here with bated breath waiting for Horizons, just hoping that I can afford it come time!

Yeah thats why i chose Twitch, better without sock puppets slamming something they never played. its like us going into "other" space sims and slamming them without ever playing that game, but of course we are not morons Nef. :D

As soon as the 2.1 beta was released I was on Twitch. I spent the night watching Fireytoads stream & like youself Troy I'm so exited about Horizons & the Engineer's. It's going to be Monster for us on the Xbox getting both at the same time.

Have you seen the funny UI bug for people who have custom HUDs? Somehow the faces of the NPCs are textured using the UI so people with stuff like blue HUDs see blue alien people...

I knew there was a reason FD didn't want us changing our HUD color, just didn't know why until I read this.

I've been very patient too but once the trailer got released, I got almost a little too excited. i haven't watched any streams yet, I'll wait until we get an official release date.

I had horizons on my computer but unfortunately, my computer was too slow and old. I got to try one planetary landing though, that was fantastic!

Edit: in an unrelated note. Does anyone know if we are going to get a season pass/LEP?

I've tried not to, because I was the same before we even got it on gpp, and I got too impatient to play it after being teased within an inch of buying another gaming pc by watching all the pc streams/videos.

Still can't wait to mess about in/on strange canyon moons though.

From what I gather there will not be a lifetime pass for Xb1. As far as Season passes there isn't any. You purchase a "year's" content 1 at a time. That years purchase contains all updates for the new content included.

That is why my mother is getting a Snickers for mothers day this year instead of expensive chocolate. :p

Btw I went to see the trailer on Gamespot and somebody said they already saw that the framerate was low in the trailer.. first I thought that's I doubt there is even Xbox gameplay there and barely any actual gameplay at all but sure enough at 0:47 you can see that it has somewhat of a low FPS.. or is that just me? Is that clip in the PC Horizons trailer?
