...and along with some interesting tidbits, some concerning feedback and some swift and reassuring communication from the devs, I've also become very thankful I'm part of the XB1 community.

I've seen things man, and stuff... I wouldnt recommend it

You guys and gals are the best. Please dont change. Pirates, PvP crowd, miners, traders, explorers. All of ya O7

I think all of us should watch (when you can) the 2.1 beta streams & follow the beta forum as the beta players are getting the say on how our game is changed etc.

Aye. I piled in on one thing that concerned me. The rest is either something I dont have enough experience to comment on, or sounds awesome.

The debate is so toxic though. I really couldnt believe some of what I read. Console crowd out-maturing the mustard rice. What a twist!

Hopefully the beta lasts a good long while. Reading the beta forums, cannons are now completely useless, as they're outclassed by large and huge multi-cannons in every single way, and missiles and torpedoes, even after mutliple changes, are still *fire off 25 missiles over 10 minutes and do 20% hull damage to a Sidewinder* level bad.

I liked the guy voicing his concern over the new A.I. mechanic of running away every single time their shields go down, and not returning until their shields are back, and everyone was basically just telling him to git gud, lol. I dunno about you, but being brought 30k away from the RES for every ship I fight does not sound like fun!

Absolutely, that is what happens when you have a bunch of "intelligent" people butting heads. I have left the forums for months at a time as a result of being goaded by people who just seem to want an argument.

Forums are always like this though because people always think they are right.

I saw a Twitch streamer last night saying that he'd heard the Eagle was getting a large buff and the FDL was getting a huge nerf in 2.1. Has anybody else heard this?

Well, silent running looks in line for a nerf (FDL), and the Eagle will have access to speedy-speed thrusters. So, yes, he may be speaking truth.

It looks like the FDL is getting a heat nerf from what has been said in the beta forum. It's not that surprising really, the FDLs heat resistance is OP since it was buffed in 1.5, leading to deadly stealth builds.

Add another panel in your ship, that when you look at, you can play Elite. :D "Yo dawg, I heard you like Elite, so I put Elite in your ship in Elite, so you can play Elite while you play Elite!"

We had that panel, but they took it away. Why'd you think it had a black background?

OK shouldn't affect me then as my approach is not so much stealth as it is in your face brute force. :)
