So I have enough for my a rated corvette, but the only thing I've ever done is bounty hunt, I know nothing else, and I don't want to know any other career, how do I go about raising my fed rank? Think my current fed rank is allied

i have an a rated corvette. dont bother. just stick with the anaconda or get the cutter.
I collect the ship's as I own all ship's that aren't behind a ranked wall, and have them all A ranked, and I want to start on red's rank first, as I'm only a solo mode player.
go to tun and do charity missions
That's it? 
Do bountyhunt/assassination or charity Fed mission's>eventually you get a "Naval Ascension" mission>rinse repeat.

I actually kinda like my Corvette. The only real downsides to it are it's lack of jump range and it's inability to anything but combat.
I love my corvette, it just kicks , go to TUN, TARIBES, LHS 1275 and do the donation charity missions, keep switching from open to solo to open etc. You,ll rank up in no time.

Allied, eh? Do you know what your actual naval ranks are? I'm afraid you might be at level 1, lol. If so, be prepared for the ultimate time sink. Been grinding forever and I'm not even half way... Back in the day, you used to be able to do charity missions, but now you're lucky if one or two appear an hour. It's taken me a week and a half to go up like a rank and a half...
Not true.....well the jump range part is. Take your corvette to Yimanbin, buy slaves, jump ONCE, sell in Mahimata. You now have a trade ship that carries 616 tonnes, or 584 tonnes if you cant handle being without shields
Love my vett! I do almost everything in mine from tradeing, bounty's, it's an excellent mining ship. Did most of my rank in taribes doing the charity missions like donations of creds/food n meds it's takes a while to do but nowhere near as long as empire rank.
'Allied' is your relationship status with the fed - the bar to the right of that is your rank. As others have said, go to Tun and spam donation/charity/classified data missions.
I really like my corvette but it's a combat ship built around the 2 huge hard points. IMO to really exploit it's potential you need twin PAs and some skill at aiming. At least until we get the new huge weapons
