Just curious, but if that Viper were to, say, fly back into the mail slot, with clearance, and scan your cargo, would you have failed the mission?
That was my initial fear, yes. After I rammed him, I tried to get to a pad asap. XP I scanned him after I turned in my missions, and he was limping into the station at like 10m/s with his shields still recharging...

Yeah, some people forget that a python is generally above 500 tons of mass, and 300 m/s, might not 'sound' like much but you were going 1080 km/h at that rate or 671 mph. And you bumped something that is generally around half your weight, had it been a mk3 viper, those are only around 100 ton. At that speed though...yeah
Easy to forget the scale of stuff, because it is in space, lack of perspective and other objects in general, which is part of it at least to me, what makes it so great an experience.

At least you didn't actually send him to a rebuy screen. Although it was evidently a bit close!
If he had, they BOTH would of been looking at 1. I don't know anybody who has escaped a station while in it. I have only done it once outside. I was coming out in an A-rated Cobra at full speed. Smeared a Hauler. I made it out of station range with 8% hull.
