What are the Combination Button Assignments for the Current Controller Layout ?

Hi,

I apologise if this is answered elsewhere but I've searched the forum, googled and looked at numerous images but not found a reference that gives a complete list of current button combinations, the in game layout diagrams don't include some of the button combinations.Would some kind soul, please help me with a complete controller layout (spread sheet or image) for the button assignments for ED on Xbox one.

In the absence of a definitive reference list elsewhere, please help me to correct and collate the one started below.

Kind Regards

R.M.

Y+right = open system map

X+LB / X+RB = fire group toggle

Can't remember the others off hand.

There's no standard target/subsystem cycling like next/previous. Not that I know of anyway.

As for working out the control scheme, you do know that keeping the "combination button" pressed for a second displays a helper on the HUD right?

There are four basic buttons (the four face buttons). So that leaves 24 potential "shortcuts" (of which not all are used right now). Y and A are inverted between standard/default and classic, but their behavior should be the same apart from that.

As for the rest, I'm pretty sure there are some mistakes on that list of yours but it can be that the default context uses different shortcuts than the classic one (I'd be very surprised about that, but this warrants testing).

Anyway, remember to hold buttons to display helpers, and hope that helps!

This ^

To add to what you have currently listed though;

A+D pad up = cycle subsystem
A+D pad down = select highest threat
Bongo lists the A + Dpad left/right ones

As also mentioned, be aware the Y/A buttons switch functions depending on the control scheme you have selected.

Thanks HBK - was aware of it only in as much as it kept obscuring my view during my panic to find the right key combination in the middle of dogfighting. I wanted a list I could study at leisure away from the consol, and you never know it may prove useful to have the button layouts for reference purposes when we get the ability to re-map them in 1.6.
