Tips to get a conda ASAP?

So yeah I've been playing ED on Xbox for around 8 weeks now and I've tried Trading, Mining and even exploration but the only one I found profitable is Bounty Hunting. I'm currently sitting on an FDL fully outfitted for combat and I'm on the Zaragas system on the HAZ RES making about a 2 mil per hour and I really wouldn't mind doing anything else but I REALLY been wanting that Conda, any tips? Because I'm relatively new to the game and I will really appreciate some tips for getting that sweet ship.

got my conda after about 5 months of playing on average 8 hours a day.
I went:
sidewinder,
cobra and T6, (fighting and trading)
vulture and T7, (fighting and trading)
Python (Powerplay)
Anaconda (Anything)

I did not rush it. Grinded some money with trading but once i got to the vulture and python more money could be earned with fighting alone.

Been playing since mid January, currently cruising in a Anaconda and it took me a fair effort of smashing res sites to get the creds, hit the haz res whilst being aligned with a faction who gives out perks toward bounties and your laughing, I went sidey, hauler, cobra, vulture, fas, python and then annie. Get some CG's in too, it's another option to earn the coin.

Depends on several things.

If you have the time and friends, 10,000 merits is pretty easy to get and maintain for a few weeks. 50 million a week will get you the Alpha Conda fast(ish)

Alternatively, as mentioned above, long range smuggling in the ASP explorer can be hand over fist profitable. The problem is these missions can be rank or rep locked. And, they are a pain in the A in general

Robigo. You'll have the Annie in hours, lol. I suggest not rushing it though. Once you reach your goal, you can quickly become disinterested in the game. You may think the Annie will keep you going, but once you have it, you may find yourself saying, "Well now what..." Just play the game, have some fun, and eventually you'll have it. Besides, it's not even going to be fully functional until 2.2!

Truer words never spoken. I wouldn't be in a huge rush to get the Conda. I didn't bother for a long time, then out of curiosity I bought one and did some exploration in it. She's a big girl, and I couldn't really utilise it well enough to justify keeping it. I'll pick one up again come Ship launched fighters.

Not saying don't, its your call. If grinding is your thing, knock yourself out.

Patience, young grasshopper. Seriously, you've come so far, so quickly, it is impressive. But, there is the risk that at your breakneck pace, you might find yourself drumming your fingers when you do get the Anny, wondering what to do next.

As for actually getting your dream ship, well, see above. They're far better qualified than me. Still, good luck, CMDR.

EDIT: Wow serves me right for doing this so late, while trying to play RE6 HD! Totally ninja'd by Nef. Stab your eyes, Nef! :D

What's all the rush? You won't play any better in an Anaconda and judging by your post... you won't magically develop patience either...

Honestly, the quickest way to get to a 'Conda is an A>B>A>B trade route.

The real question is, why do you want a 'conda? Is it for bounty hunting? Because your FDL is probably going to be better at that. The conda is a great multi-role ship, but I'm not sure how it'll be when fully combat outfitted.

Got my anaconda within two weeks of starting the game back in GPP. Trading is the best money you can make. Send me a friend request and I'll send you in the right direction. Gt is murdok187

Here, mate.

*gives Nef a "Geordi LaForge" visor*

OT: The others are right: be patient. Rushing for that endgame ship will kill the sense of accomplishment that owning such a ship should bring.

I spent months exploring and trading rares to get my Truckaconda, and I felt like God when I pulled the trigger (full confession, I did a Robigo or two to help with the outfitting).

Step 1: Grind.

Step 2: Quit the game before you get to the Anaconda.

Seriously. If you grind for something like an Anaconda, it will wear down and ruin the game for you.
