4) Run a program to automatically pick up preparation merits every thirty minutes

This is more or less "brain dead" work, and you're slowly but surely building the account towards huge ships, and once the account can afford a Cutter or a Corvette, the less brain dead work can then be done by people doing missions to grind the required rank there.

How is it that it is pretty much impossible to run a script to farm money in this game EXCEPT in power play?
It's almost as if most parts of the game are well designed when it comes to discourage gold farming.

I don't think it is considered cheat. It's like you are collecting the materials, but the script is doing it for you. I think you even have to have the game running.

The issue isn't that they're cheating, it's that they're selling the accounts, and Frontier's basically given them the perfect way of building up the accounts they're selling.

We've been buildings accounts since january last year and sold credits using the various method Frontier gave us in game.

Some people have family and not enough time to be able to get to where they want in game so they can follow their friends when they finally get time to play, but we offer to get them there so they aren't left alone in their starting ship.

People's wealth can't really modify your gameplay experience and legit gameplay can't be stopped. We've never used PP to get weekly salary (expect on our personal accounts, for those of us who cared about pp) as it's too slow for anything anyway.

Seriously, the kind of income you'd get with PP is so small, there's nothing useful to be had out of it. At this moment, we usually deliver 100 up to 250 millions in a day to our customers. Try doing this with PP.

We always use method that are open to all players with the knowledge/skills/group of player to support the method. We only spend more time in game than anyone else since we're being paid for it.

Donald had a bug up his ass about FD's game and how FD should sit up and take notice. Hell he 'declared' himself to us in our Slack to impose his wants and whys on the state of the game.

What was happening in Chnumar was funded by massive amounts of credits and I'm afraid that multiple, loaded accounts operated by a few just fit the bill for it. Once you took that step in thinking it did not take long to find Elite Credits. Then compare and contrast that to your own post history and either the '5th C' reddit account used you as a patsy or you just fit the bill. It was not about making credits for accounts it was about overwhelming force being wielded.

Personal opinion for sure. Unless you come out and actually say you used those resources then it's going to take those that operated alongside 'Donald' coming out and talking about their part in it but 'Donald' wanted to show FD what was needing to be improved in their game yet never once took to the forums to do it. Maybe 'Donald' gets his chance now or never needed it.

Honestly, I don't get the point you are trying to make. Are you condamning 5C for what they said about the game, for what they did, for the funds they invested to beat you up or for the general ability to fast track anyone (you too) can use?

You hold yourself up as providing a service. The point is that you justify yourself and what you do like it is some honorable calling while it is just profiteering at the expense of the game and the communities that play it.

I'm commenting on the underhandedness of the whole exercise. The dishonest claims to be making FD aware of 'their games problems', the infiltrating of game communities to spy on them, the use of multiple accounts loaded with credits used to make a couple of cmdrs like an army. All of it is dishonest, maybe it's not against 'the rules' whatever they are but you make yourself clean out of all of it and frankly that's disingenuous bull.

You used dirty tactics because your practises enabled you to do so. By extension, you proved that your service can enable any like minded individuals to disrupt the game just because they can pay you some money.

Do you have any idea how many cmdrs walked from the game because of this? The hurt put on a community while your users don't have 'enough time to be able to get to where they want in game'. Stop putting it about like you're justified doing what you do because you think you are helping the less fortunate, more well off few.

Every single one in my community, I've watched come from sideys/haulers/cobras, and given advice on how to kit out eagles/vipers for first forays into combat.

If people want that goal, make the time to do it. Something has to give. In my world ED is what gives up time for real life. I'm not elite (even though I've played since premium beta) because I only spare 3 evenings a week to play time. Had I no real life, I'd be triple elite, in multiple accounts, with plenty of resources to push my faction where I wanted.. So don't try and justify underhanded means.

FYI I do use a script to collect things, simply because spending time going click click click press press (add infinitum) can be tedious. So some mundane tasks are assigned to a script. The rest is my time, at the keyboard (well HOTAS).
