I am pretty much the only one that does the silent running, but don't worry in 2.1 they will nerf the out of it and no one will use it.

I'm hoping that the additional heat penalty for shooting in SR doesn't hurt it too bad, Dutchy. You're the only pilot I've run across who can consistently make me miss while using it. I've enjoyed trying (with poor success) to use the opportunity to improve my aim.

Sorry I bounce around a lot while fighting my SO keeps telling me that I need to stop bouncing. I fear the nerf will completely invalidate the build, which I guess a lot of people will be happy about, so back to boring beams and chaff it is.
It's a shame the Imp is such a hard counter against rapid cannons, otherwise a SR rapid cannon build might be interesting to try. I assume they put out next to no heat to fire.
Against some less experienced pilots it doesn't really matter what you shoot at them, you will kill them. I pulled out a rapid cannon build yesterday just to change it up a little bit. But as soon as somone shows up that knows how to do a spiral the rapid cannon is useless (as is the plasma repeater which is even slower). You can just spiral to avoid everything. I will have to ponder on what to do, as I find the beams and chaff sooooo boring.
There is a new force shell ammo proposal. I maybe inclined towards a game of "siddy shuffleboard flag capture" sometime in the near future...
Finally managed to get to rank 50 last night, so i've now got the final system permit to complete my collection! had some great games over the weekend, so thanks to all those who kicked my bottom, and even bigger thanks to those (few) who's bottoms i kicked : )
P.S. if i was on your team in TDM after 10:30pm last night, i'm sorry. i went to the pub and had more beer than is good for me, or my piloting (un)skills!

Yeah mouse and keyboard aren't the quickest responders sometimes... then my touchpad that is suppose to be disabled when the mouse is connected seems to have "forgotten" that, and reconnected... windows 10 magic
I may have to start using "energy tactics", I just need more practice is all
