Yeah except it is not against the XBL rules, is it??
Cheating is cheating. Developer determines the nature, and FDev have stated it's against the rules.
would it be considered against the rules to log against a NPC pilot? I mean youre not really impacting anyone else are you?
You're better of just reporting them via XBL and get a bunch of friends to do the same.
Negative player reviews yes, reports no. Reports only work if the reporter and reported player were in the same game or connected somehow. If they werent its assumed as a false report, which achieves nothing other than lessening the priority for review of your future reports.
This fascination of reporting random players for logging only leads me to believe that folks really need to get out more![]()
Didn't seem like it when I posted a picture of the guy who said that in my XBL feed and I assume a lot of people reported him and soon after I got a message from Xbox saying someone I reported recently has gotten action taken against them.

Easy enough for you to say.
He could have been reported for the same offence many times previously, and yours was the report that finally pushed him up the pecking order to be reviewed and dealt with.
I looked in to how it works a while ago. Unless they've changed their MO you have to be in game with the perpetrator![]()
Funny, I thought you were the expert.Eh.. not sure to be honest....
Funny, I thought you were the expert.
I doubt so.. if people don't know logging is cheating I assume that goes both ways.
