What happens when you report a logger?

Does anyone know if anything happens when you report someone for combat logging?
Has anyone in these forums logged and got in trouble for it if so what happened.
My captures of logging are building and will prob delete if not needed anymore.

Eh.. not sure to be honest. I lost faith in reporting them via the forum support when they told me they didn't even know how a combat log looked like on Xbox until I told them it looks differently.

I've seen one forum person say they had 2 friends who logged and got some sort of punishment for it but he didn't specify what after I asked.

Be a bit more satisfied that a punishment was given to cmdrs that were found guilty. Got a gut feeling that ziddley squat happens.

i would like to think it gets acted upon however i believe it gets documented and filed in a stringently audited method

would it be considered against the rules to log against a NPC pilot? I mean youre not really impacting anyone else are you?

Negative player reviews yes, reports no. Reports only work if the reporter and reported player were in the same game or connected somehow. If they werent its assumed as a false report, which achieves nothing other than lessening the priority for review of your future reports.

Didn't seem like it when I posted a picture of the guy who said that in my XBL feed and I assume a lot of people reported him and soon after I got a message from Xbox saying someone I reported recently has gotten action taken against them.

He could have been reported for the same offence many times previously, and yours was the report that finally pushed him up the pecking order to be reviewed and dealt with.

I looked in to how it works a while ago. Unless they've changed their MO you have to be in game with the perpetrator :(

I doubt so.. if people don't know logging is cheating I assume that goes both ways.

Don't know if the xbox version is as buggy as the PC but as often as my video drivers crap out forcing me to restart (alot of times during combat) how is FD to know what really happened?
