Indestructable

I had an instance earlier when i was in combat with a player(wanted) and he was taking a thorough beating from me and a few others but he got down to 25% hull and stayed there for as long as it took for him to hypercruise out. For about 30 seconds he was taking a hellava beating but his percentage stayed the same. Has anyone else had that?
 
That does sound strange. perhaps the game was lagging and he was already in hypercruise it just hadnt loaded in your game? Probably not the case but first thing I could think of lol
 
Actually it sounds like Combat Logging (now that i now know what that is :) )

If they combat logger there wouldn't be a high-wake. They would just stop taking damage for a while keep flying in one direction and then after a couple of seconds disapear.

That was my thought, but the indestructible part could be a forced latency issue.

Might be time to bring out the OLE 360 Lag switch cable for a test run.
 
Definitely sounds like a latency problem. On several occasions my friend (who has a bad connection) has mentioned an npc suddenly becoming invulnerable, spinning in place/flying straight non-stop when hes gotten a particularly bad lag spike, and they continue to do so when I had killed the npc or the lag spike had ended for him.

Recently he also had a severe lag spike and temporarily disappeared for me, then when he popped back up, he was just spinning off into the distance, and yet on his screen he was fine and could even brush up against my ship and it would register that he hit me.
