EDDI: A(nother) Voice Attack Plugin

So I have downloaded it, removed the old version, copied it anew, still says 13:13:14 - Plugin 'EDDI 1.1.0' initialized. in the log. I assume this is just a copy paste error given the other issues (like persistence of home station) seem to be resolved...

Yeah that works! Sorry mate but there's one more thing, in ((EDDI:startup)) you might want to change the Compare from 1.1.0 to 1.2.0, otherwise we get that nag about upgrading. Good work though!! :D Loving it, I have integrated it with Marvin from EDtoolbox, the concoction works a treat!! I am not even firing up HCS anymore... (well admittedly yes, for combat, until I migrate the commands to Marvin/EDDI...)

Ah yes. You can either re-(re-)download the ZIP file or take the latest profile from https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cmdrmcdonald/EliteDangerousDataProvider/master/Profiles/EDDI-Profile.vap and import it from there.

jgm, I'm having a bit of an issue when adding eddi to my own profile. This could be a bug with VA itself but it seems to be triggered by eddi. Basically, boolean variables get screwed up and won't work. If you grab my profile here: http://forum.hcsvoicepacks.com/forum/elite-dangerous-discussion/6398-v2-0-multi-crew-profile there is a simple command you can test, hold ctrl-alt-backspace and it toggles a debug mode variable. Without eddi it works fine, with eddi it won't alter it's state. There are others too which get stuck when eddi is installed. Add the eddi startup to the ((Start Everything)) command.

Actually, it's now working. Something is happening to mess it up, I just can't figure it out but it only gets broken with eddi in.

One question/feature request:
I don't actually know if it's currently accessible through the third party API, but the player's pledged Powerplay faction would be a nice bit of info to use with EDDI

I've made a set of VA commands to set course to systems, basically as follows:
"Navigate [to;];[Plot;Set] a course [to;for]" (Prefix) - Open galaxy map, wait several seconds, click on search
"System X" (Suffix) - Set [nav_system] variable to "System X", execute command ((Target system))
"((Target System))" - Quick input {TXT:nav_system}, press enter

I've manually set up several notable systems(Sol, Alioth, Achenar, Founders world/Shinrarta [Dezhra part is optional], etc.) which just use the hardcoded names
There's also one command for navigating to your set Home system via {TXT:Home system}

Now I want to add one more command to "Set course for [Headquarters;HQ]":
Not pledged to anyone - Home system
Edmund Mahon - Gateway
Felicia Winters - Rhea
Zachary Hudson - Nanomam
Zemina Torval - Synteini
etc.

If it's not available through the API, it could also be added to EDDI's settings itself(Same as home system), but a small problem there is that new power(s) will be added soonish, after which the app also needs to be updated
(I'd have to update my commands as well, but that's sort of expected)

Same. Can't run configuration.exe Even downloaded and reinstalled. The new configuration.exe file won't run either. Have you guys resolved it or still not working for you too?

Further to my last reply...Removing the credentials does fix the loading problem, but when I enter my Ed loging data I get the following error. I'm gonna report it on the GitHub but wondering if JGM could advise?

After a quick look I can confirm that FD have b0rked their API. Any request for a profile reverts to the login request regardless of if the user has correct credentials or not.

There's not a lot that can be done at the moment. I'll raise a bug report and we can hope that someone will take a look at it soon.

Looks like the API is back so you should be able to use EDDI fully again. No EDDI upgrade is required. Please let me know if you find any more problems with 2.1.
