Who wants to go to space without any space suit but a cool jacket? https://gfycat.com/CluelessSentimentalBrownbutterfly

What happens when a starfarer explodes?

Dear lord! That was so messy :D
Some sort of space convention hehe

Magic German seams tired, anyway want to see not listen to talk, we heard enough talk from CIG people the last 4 years, time to see all this marvellous stuff.
What I've seem until now is not by any standard impressive.
Oh! That can't be, bring them more apple juice, btw, he said he was sick on the beggining! It's the stuff they're holding to, TBA... TBA... i think we might see that SQ42 gameplay first?

Now I understand the P.U. acronym:

Have they gone to an incremental update system yet? I would love to play this but the 24-32 hour download times for each update have made this a non-starter for me.

So we have had smaller ships until now, with the Starfarer in-game, just check how it feels:

If the downloads really take that long for you, best for you is not enter the PTU phase. o.o

Now I could writhe something, however that will probably not end well, so I wont LOL.

Instead I will just leave this rude reply from CIG customer support. Honestly this is not the way to reply to a paying customer.

One-side storys from Dsmart?

Come on...
Repeating the exact same phrase through many emails is not a way to contact support when they had already answer you. And we don't even have all the chain of emails to know what happens before that.

It's as easy as for example... F12 on Google Chrome, and hello drama! But i guess, as long it fits the bias, bring it on! :p
From the several before that were a game of smoke and mirrors (manipulated emails)... hell with that! Specially when it comes from DS or the SA Forums.

Clearly he is not getting access, however you're right we don't know the whole story, but that is not the point. Even if you have an annoying customer you can't reply like that.
If I was this customer I would take it to the German Consumer council or whatever they are called, I would also try to get a charge back through my credit card or pay pal.

This is just not professional in anyway, and DS didn't write this letter CIG Customer Support did.

Oh Oh

I'm curious now, was that proven as legitimate already then? Or is it the usual "it must be truth because it's negative towards CIG" kind of thing?
If i understand someone was contesting not having access to the PTU with having had Alpha access before? So did most of us, and as usual, misses the whole context.

I don't really know, but I do know that he posted that on twitter before you posted that here, where did you or him get that? Not my concern, If the whole story was posted I may agree, maybe that that's not the best way to reply to a normal customer, to an annoying, spammer, troll, goon or whatever who only repeats the same without reading what you write I'm amazed that they even continue to reply to him.

But that's my opinion ofc, you can say what you want about that support guy if that makes you happy, I don't see nothing really wrong considering his patience with this... "customer".

But like always this is only my opinion.

We don't know the back ground, still I would pull my financial support ASAP if it was me.

Star(Citizen) Wars:
Year IV
The Publishers strike back

It is a dark time for CIG. Their teams struggle with basic functionality within the engine continue, as rival Indie developers have pushed ahead with projects like Elite Dangerous, No Man's Sky, and Rogue Systems. Facing ever improving competition and falling funding levels, Roberts has made a desperate ploy - move focus from the MMO sandbox Star Citizen which would compete with those titles, to building a triple A Space Opera 'Squadron 42' - a space sim/fps game which fills a niche which is largely empty.

It may come to backfire though as after years of being the butt of CIGs jokes, the dreaded publishers have finally started to make their move. Activision released a trailer for 'Call of Duty - Infinite Warfare' which is set for full release in November this year. As well as showcasing CoD's well established FPS gameplay it pushes into space flight mechanics, zero G FPS, making it a serious contender in the same field as Squadron 42. EA has yet to show much of 'Mass Effect: Andromeda' which is rumoured to be set for a 2017 release - its most likely superior graphical, storytelling, and acting will make it a formidable rival. Lurking unseen is Bethesda's mysterious 'Starfield', as well as the inevitable reveal of projects by others such as Ubisoft. With time against them, the CIG developers desperately refactor code...

While I have my doubts about the person in question having saw the discussion in a little more detail(which took some digging) ,regardless the CS guy could have handled the situation better. I mean when someone opens with "Fix my problem ASAP or i will call the German consumer whatever on you" is a surefire way of starting a conversation on the wrong footing..........yes even if it is CIG........

All Kickstarter promises have been accomplished?

REALLY?

Forget consumer protection, call the media. They should be told that SC is finished. Because that's what "all KS promises" means.
