May I suggest a new menu option in ED?

I still have a couple bounties that I can collect but I realy have no idea where I recieved them or where to collect them.
So those bounties are just sitting there in the contracts list, they're just a coule thousand credits so nothing to be sore about.
Personaly I would love an option to discard and delete those entries as to remove the clutter from that list.

No?

Cheers and fly save Commanders.

It's called a SuicideWinder :p

Yeah, frankly it's one of the reasons I've not installed a KWS - I'm not exactly OCD, but even a single holdover for some meaningless sum (e.g. 400) just bugs me, so adding more's a no-no unless I build a dedicated hunter ship.

Apropos simple additions to menus; when touching down, being able to press right at the enter hanger option to instead change it to something like 'cycle bay' would be nice. You can just hit launch to cycle and release, but if I'm just refueling, picking up a rare, or handing in a job, I'd like to cycle the bay and be pointed in the launch position the moment I leave the screens.

So essentially, it'd be the launch option, but without the release action. Maybe no one else would care for such an idea, but it's always been something I felt should be there.

I care. It's a nice suggestion, actually you can enter the hangar then return to surface for facing the right direction for take-off... but it's annoying on the long run.

Yeah, and I sometimes do it, but it requires waiting for be tucked away, then another menu interaction to raise to launch position. Always seemed like a cycle-bay option would be a sensible, simple addition.

Being able to clear unwanted bounties would be amazing. Almost as amazing as a cycle-bay option, or even just an option to launch regardless of my orientation. I can turn myself around faster than the bay can anyway, and it isn't necessary for my ship to be on the pad for it to cycle, so it would logically be no problem. These ideas, keep them out there. We may yet see a few seconds shaved off of our docking procedures and a few less transactions in our target panel. :)

Collect ALL the bounties!

That's the point, I can't, I have a couple bounties that I don't know where to collect them, they're from small factions I guess but I have no idea in which systems those factions are.
It could be that I recieved the bounties after being interdicted and I killed the pirate but forgot to claim the bounty in that particular system.
Either way they're clutter now and I would like an option to discard them very much.

I have a different suggestion. I would like another filter option within the Galaxy Map. This would be a symbol such as a '$'. If you had outstanding financial concerns (fines, bounties, etc.) and you switched on that filter any MINOR system that was relevant would have a '$' appear over it (in the same way missions, ships and friends do). This would not be the case for the major powers (Alliance, Empire, Federation) as this could cause there to be a lot of these symbols, swamping the Galaxy Map.

Surely the name of the system is in the faction name?

Apart from player factions, I could of sworn this was the case for all factions.

Faction names do not have to have any relevance to their system of origin. I have had occasions when I have bounties (such as for 'Gold Systems Inc' or something like), only to find the system by accident (looked through the relevant page on the right panel).

I do understand (what I believe to be) FDevs' attitude towards this issue. They want Players to get out there and see the sights. If there was a 'Cash in all Bounties' option then the incentive to travel is lost. I know, it is frustrating to wade through that list (I have just gone out in one of my Sidewinders and cashed almost all of them in), let alone have to then go to different systems to cash them in. A common 'fix' is the 'Suicidwinder' options, but it is not a pretty option. I prefer my suggestion of the 'Finances' filter in the Galaxy Map.

Eh'. Well I didn't know that. Guess I'm just lucky with the systems & factions I choose to work with.

I have had occasions when I am flying a multi-hop route in a large ship, and come under attack at a point along the route. Although I have won, there is nowhere suitable for a large ship to land. I did not check the 'Transactions' list, otherwise I would have seen a new Bounty with a name not related to where I was (and in this case I would note the location down). Later, when I check the list, I would find a bounty for 'I bet you cannot remember where this is from Inc', and not known where to cash it in. Then I check the factions details as I pass through different systems, and if that one shows up again I note down the system I am in.

I would just like the ability to see where we have pending bounties to claim in the galaxy map. A new filter would work in my opinion.

The bounty while traveling thing happens to me all the time. You don't want time see how long my transactions tab is these days lol.

how about a claim all bounties button for systems and factions but you pay 10%. bounties for fed, alliance and the empire alone have to be collected in the nearest aligned system

If your trying to find where a system faction is look at inara website as it has a list of factions in the galaxy tab should help if the bounty is worth more than 400 cr

Oh thanks a lot, I didn't know about this site.
I'll surely use it, I can't remember the faction's names but I'll make sure to check them next time I log on.

Have a +1 rep!!!!
